One Flew South is pleased to welcome Chef Gary Caldwell as Executive Chef.

Chef Caldwell brings more than 20 years of experience to the kitchen, including previous leadership at Ludacris' Chicken and B**r and, most recently, as Executive Chef at Marcus Bar & Grille.

A Louisiana native, Caldwell’s food is informed by Creole and Cajun cooking, coastal seafood, and seasonal ingredients. He has worked in kitchens across New Orleans, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta and is a 2024 Food Network Chopped winner and 2026 Georgia Grown Executive Chef.

“I’m excited to add to the legacy of this restaurant," Caldwell told Rough Draft Atlanta about leading our kitchen, and we are more than excited to welcome him to One Flew South.

Fine dining in the world's busiest airport? We've been doing it since 2009.

One Flew South is the first airport restaurant in the world to land a James Beard Nomination, and we're still proving that a layover can be a destination of its own. Southern-inspired plates, a serious sushi menu, and a w**e list that doesn't know it's in a terminal.
