29 years. It’s hard to believe.

Cindy, Alan, JR, and Dewayne still look at each other sometimes and ask how nearly three decades have passed since we first opened our doors in Downtown Atlanta. What started as a dream to bring great beer and wood fired food to the city has turned into a lifetime of memories.

From Super Bowls and Chick fil A Peach Bowls to AmericasMart and countless conventions, we have had the privilege of welcoming guests from around the world while staying rooted in the community we love most, Downtown Atlanta.

Through the ups and the downs, one thing has always stayed the same. Family, friends, great beer, wood fired food, and the simple joy of gathering around the table.

Thank you for being part of the Max Lager’s story for the last 29 years. We cannot wait to see what the next chapter brings. 🍻
