Some milestones deserve more than a party. They deserve a moment.
We had the honor of feeding the celebration of two teachers stepping into a well-earned retirement, and we brought everything we had.
Guests gathered around a rustic mixed greens salad layered with roasted beets, creamy goat cheese, candied walnuts, and a light vinaigrette. A classic charcuterie board held its own with artisan cheeses, cured meats, olives, nuts, crackers, and seasonal accompaniments arranged with intention. The tropical fruit display brought mango, pineapple, dragon fruit, kiwi, strawberries, grapes, and whatever the season had to offer, color and freshness that matched the energy in the room.
Simple ingredients. Thoughtful hands. A room full of people celebrating two people who spent their careers pouring into others.
