Red's Beer Garden is a counter-service restaurant in the Benteen Park neighborhood of Atlanta. Coming from Wilmington, NC, the owners (Kristen aka 'Red' and Ed Sumpter) loved local spots showcasing beer in self-serve coolers. After moving to Atlanta, their mission was to find a similar cool beer spot, but it just didn't exist. Red's offers hot dogs, sandwiches, and over 250 types of beer, wine, cider, mead, seltzer, and non-alcoholic options from our self-serve glass door coolers. Beers from around the world, and from breweries down the road - everything from Monday Night Blind Pirate, to a Duchesse de Bourgogne, to a PBR. We are family- and dog-friendly, and offer events and drives for non-profits throughout the year, with a focus on connecting our community and neighborhood. At Red's, we believe in creating memories, cultivating friendships, and coming together with a common purpose: to enjoy good food and drink.

Science Trivia: The Haunted Secrets of The Brain
Wednesday, October 21st at 7 pm

Join us for a night of science-themed trivia, where you’ll be tested on your knowledge on myths versus facts, neuroscience history, science fiction, and the mysteries of the brain. ALL are welcome, come in your favorite costume to win best dressed, and dare to dream you’ll make it to the top three teams to win a prize.

This is the FIFTH (?!?) year the GSU Undergraduate Neuroscience PhD students have hosted trivia at Red’s. Their mission? To collaborate with the community, translating neuroscience research into relevant service and policy efforts. We love ‘em! Come support ‘em!

To play, they are only asking for a donation: $5 to the GSU Center for Behavioral Neuroscience (CBN). Donate when you arrive!

Parking: Free parking is available in the Grant Park Clinic lot, located immediately to the right (south) of Red’s. There is also a gravel lot directly behind the clinic/church that our guests are welcome to use. Additional parking is available in front of Red’s or along Benteen Way, which is about a 0.1 mile walk to the left (north) of Red’s. Do not park in front of Iglesia Pentecostal El Tabernaculo de Restauracion or across the street on Warmbreeze Road. You will be towed.

Crafternoon is back, this time hosted by one of our favorite regulars, Katie!

The plant, soil and tools will be provided - all you need to do is come early and drink up, so you can use your empty can as the planter.

And it doesn’t have to be a b**r can, it can be anything from our coolers - b**r, c***r, seltzer, THC, kombucha, etc. Freedoooooom!

Red’s is one of the only spots in the city offering free reservations for groups up to 40 with no minimum spend. Got a bigger crew? The only difference for groups up to 70 is just a $250 reservation fee. Cover the whole tab for your crew, or let everyone run their own. Perfect for wedding welcome parties, holiday get-togethers, happy hours and socials, or just a ton of folks wanting to play Magic together.

Our November and December calendar is starting to fill up, so now’s the time to lock in your reservation! The temperatures will start cooling down for some flannel action and our firepit and heaters will be out no later than mid-November. B**r garden season ain’t no joke.
