Red's Beer Garden in Benteen Park brings families, neighbors, and dogs together in one place. So, Red's Beer Garden was born. All are welcome. All are loved.

Red's Beer Garden is a counter-service restaurant in the Benteen Park neighborhood of Atlanta. Coming from Wilmington, NC, the owners (Kristen aka 'Red' and Ed Sumpter) loved local spots showcasing beer in self-serve coolers. After moving to Atlanta, their mission was to find a similar cool beer spot, but it just didn't exist. Red's offers hot dogs, sandwiches, and over 250 types of beer, wine, ci

der, mead, seltzer, and non-alcoholic options from our self-serve glass door coolers. Beers from around the world, and from breweries down the road - everything from Monday Night Blind Pirate, to a Duchesse de Bourgogne, to a PBR. We are family- and dog-friendly, and offer events and drives for non-profits throughout the year, with a focus on connecting our community and neighborhood. At Red's, we believe in creating memories, cultivating friendships, and coming together with a common purpose: to enjoy good food and drink.

We’ve NEVER shown sports before. But every four years, the world somehow gets behind the same thing at the same time. For one month, everybody suddenly has something to talk about with the person sitting next to them that isn’t depressing. Heck… let me open Red’s freaking doors to that.

And look - we’re not pretending to be the craziest soccer bar in Atlanta. It’s Red’s. We’re chill. You wanna be chill? Cool, come be chill with us. We’re just trying to make chill friends over here.

Inside the dining room with sound, drink specials, and a beer garden to wander around during halftime. We won’t be showing every match, but we will be opening early/staying open late for some, so make sure to check out the link in our bio for the games we’ll be showing at Red’s.

Parking: Free parking is available in the Grant Park Clinic lot, located immediately to the right (south) of Red’s. There is also a gravel lot directly behind the clinic/church that our guests are welcome to use. Additional parking is available in front of Red’s or along Benteen Way, which is about a 0.1 mile walk to the left (north) of Red’s. Do not park in front of Iglesia Pentecostal El Tabernaculo de Restauracion or across the street on Warmbreeze Road. You will be towed.

Well well well…how’d we get so lucky?

The ’ drumline and are dropping by for a quick pop-up performance during Pride Party!

Throw in Baby Dee making the rounds from 12 - 6 pm with crowd games, a drag performance or two and a level of sass that I’ve personally seen increase every hour on the hour, and you’ve got yourself one heck of a Sunday afternoon. 🌈

This Sunday, May 31st from 1 - 4 pm, swing by for our board game giveaway and swap!

We’ll have 50+ games taking over the beer garden (dining room if raining). Grab a hog, a beer and leave with a new game. Voilà! First come, first served. Limit 3 games per household.

All we ask: donate at least $1 per game to , our Q***r . Our regular, Abby, keeps the shelves stocked, so let’s help refill the book fund.

Want to bring games to swap? Go for it! Just make sure they’re complete and in good condition.

Moonchild - an acoustic Iron Maiden cover band - will be playing at Red’s on Saturday, June 13th at 7 pm.

Not only do they live in the neighborhood, but they’re also some of our longest-running and favorite regulars. Go check out their page! I am personally VERY EXCITED.

All glassware proceeds will be donated to ’s grantmaking initiative, “Pride Across the Peach State”, which focuses on uplifting, supporting, and amplifying the efforts of local & grassroots Pride organizations across Georgia. Folks from Atlanta Pride will be out on June 14th - come say hi!

Glassware will be available starting June 14th at our Pride Party. We won’t be selling any online this year, but I’ll be setting a few aside that will be available Sunday for those of y’all who prefer less chaos and fewer crowds. ;)

Last but not least, our pride glass this year was designed by Atlanta-based q***r artist - ! Show him some love!

At 2 pm, each team will receive the same mysterious 500-piece puzzle and the three fastest teams win $30, $20, $10 gift cards to Round Trip. There’s no limit on the team size, but only 4 people can be touching the puzzle at once. Only 13 puzzles, so only 13 teams - first come, first served.

Board Game Giveaway & Swap

Some incredible regulars are downsizing their board game stash and offered to donate them to Red’s - THANK YOU AMI AND CHRIS!!! It’s more than we can keep, so we’re turning it into a day where you can eat a hotdog and leave with a game.

We’ll have 50+ games set up in the garden. Swing by anytime between 1 - 4 pm and grab one (or a few?… let’s say a 3 game limit per household). First come, first served.

All we ask is that for every game you take, you donate at least $1 to - our Q***r . Another incredible regular, Abby, keeps it stocked when it runs low, so let’s build her book fund back up. Any amount helps (thank you, Abby)!

Expect hot dogs, inflatable bananas and a few things that will make more sense once you see them. And of course, doing it all in platform Crocs because we are in mulch and respect practical beauty.

BEER:
We’ll be highlighting any and all breweries and beverages that financially support LGBTQ+ non-profits with stickers and signage throughout the party. Look for one or two on draft, as well.

Who’s pregaming Cinco de Mayo with us? We may not serve liquor, but we can still serve up a mean margarita!

We’ll have 5 mg Jalapeño Margarita, Mango Margarita, and Grapefruit Paloma in the coolers and as 4-packs to go for the next two Tuesday trivias - April 28th and May 5th. Kia will even be out pouring free samples, so you can try before you commit.

They’re 70 calories, made with real juice and agave, and no fake sugar aftertaste. And I can tell you from experience, it hits fast. I had a Jalapeno Margarita last night and it was deeeeelish!

Ed loves 30 Rock so much, he named our cat Tracy Morgan. One of the refrigerators at Red’s is named Lil Sebastian. Galentine’s Day didn’t exist until 2010 and now it’s in the dictionary. We all wish we could be workin on our night cheese. Almost every joke I make can be traced back to Michael Scott. And you’ll get the joke because YOU KNOW IT, TOO.

The Office, 30 Rock, and Parks and Rec were pivotal for us millennials growing up. If this trivia night doesn’t fully feel like Red’s - community, belonging, being seen - then sorry yall, I don’t know what does.
