In 2023, when Blue Ribbon Grill 's lease was almost up for renewal, we had to decide whether to close due to our rent skyrocketing or find a new home for a Tucker tradition. We reopened at Chamblee Tucker Rd. In December 2024.
For the past year or so, our entire staff has given this new location 110% effort, and as of March 31, 2026, we really feel like we currently have had the best tasting, most consistent food and hardest-working, tight-knit staff since we became owners in 2021.
That being said, we have struggled the past year with everything from Big Lots being closed to street closures from protesting and inflation/unemployment plus the continued rise of costs for running a restaurant.
We were hit with several bills the past week that had all increased by a good amount, so we have decided this is the point where we have to say goodbye. Our official last day was March 29, 2026.
Thanks the most to our incredible staff, many from the last location, who have been here for most if not all of the long haul. Especially- Dwayne, Tara, Yiny, Bill, Terrell, and Lyla.
We as owners would also like to thank our supporting customers, especially the past year, because you made us want to run and open the door for you.
Thank you Michelle, Keith, Prudence, Leah, Brad, Matthew, Charles, Brian, Adam and Cole, Christie, Pat, Mary, Bill, Whitney, Tara, Lauren, Malika, James, Dennis, Jason, Katherine, our Embry Hills music bingo players, and everyone else not mentioned.... You and the staff were the best part of it all.
