Sometimes life hits you hard, and you’re forced to pause, reevaluate, and ask yourself: Is this really the life I want?

At the top of the year, MoreLyfe experienced an accident that temporarily stopped business. Before that, the construction on Cascade had already put a strain on us, cutting sales by up to 70% daily. There were days when I felt like walking away. Honestly, I probably would’ve considered it if there wasn’t a $130K loan.

There were moments I’d stand at the door of my office, listen to my 9-year-old son watching YouTube for hours, and wonder: How did I go from homeschooling him to feeling like YouTube is now raising him?

I made the tough decision to close the juice bar during our second busiest time of the day so I could take my son to his after-school activities. Watching our sales drop more in the process. Heart-wrenching. But through all of that frustration, I’m realizing it’s fueling my evolution.

Since the accident, I wake up with a grateful heart, pray and meditate first thing—before touching my phone. Taking time to pause with intentional deep breathes. Watching the sun rise- a reminder that every day is a fresh start. There’s something deeply grounding in seeing the world slowly come alive.

I’m evolving. Trinket is evolving. MoreLyfe is evolving. And it’s a beautiful journey.
