Dan's Grub Shack opened on August 17, 2010 under the ownership of Dan and Laurie Schwent. We serve all American comfort food ranging from our best know item the fish and chips and smash mouth burgers like the cowboy to the gyros and phillys.

Due to the tremendous outpouring of support, we have sold out of food for the night! Dans will reopen tomorrow morning at 11:30... Thank you to all of you have come in and we will see the rest of your tomorrow 😉

Well, unfortunately the rumors you are hearing are true. Dans will be closing our doors on the 31st of August, 2024. We truly appreciate all our loyal customers over the last 14 years! It was a good, no, a great run!! Sadly, as with many other small businesses, the pandemic finally caught up with us. We want to thank you all for your support over all the years and encourage you to visit during our last few weeks. We will miss all of you and we look forward to seeing ya'll for one last meal! Thank you Atascadero, because of you, we made it to where we are now.
