Our melipona honey comes from stingless bees (meliponinis) that live on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. This nutrient dense honey has been harvested there as a Mayan tradition for over 3000 years!

A typical hive produces only about 1-2 L of honey per year from their small colony sizes and different hive structures.

The many anti-inflammatory, antibacterial & other medicinal benefits of this silky smooth, bright & floral honey make this rare style quite the delicacy.
