Just a little reminder on Indigenous Peoples' Day.

We would like to acknowledge the Shasta, Takelma, Latgawa, Modoc, and Klamath peoples who were stewards of this land long before we were.

Today is World Mental Health Day!

The service industry is notorious for promoting poor mental health habits and iconifying overwork without time to recover.
Holidays spent at work, missing life events, expectations to work while ill, and putting on a cheery disposition when their mind is anything but happy. These are a few of the expectations placed on service industry workers.

We aim to be part of the change. And it starts with being present: owners working the floor, seeing what works and doesn't, and keeping tabs on how our team is doing.
But we also allow our team the space and time to overcome trauma, recover, and be healthy physically and mentally.

And we're making baby steps toward more progressive support. With your patronage and support, we hope to offer even more for our team:
-Health Care
-Paid Education
-Paid Vacation

We know that if we take the best care of our team, then they are equipped to take the best care of you.

We're getting excited for our French Revolution Halloween with a themed cocktail list live today!

This cocktail is the Round Robin.
Calvados, absinthe, simple, egg white, fresh ground black pepper.

The definition of Round Robin is:
1: a written petition, memorial, or protest to which the signatures are affixed in a circle so as not to indicate who signed first.
2: A statement signed by several persons.
3: something (such as a letter) sent in turn to the members of a group, each of whom signs and forwards it sometimes after adding comment.
