Next week, we will be off for deep cleaning and maintenance (9/20 -9/26). We will post our schedule for the week of 9/27 by the end of next week. Thank you all for being part of this journey with us. We will continue operating year round unless we cannot pull the trailer (snow and ice will be determining factors, we all know it comes sooner or later).
The second week in November, we will be taking orders for Gerwig's original stuffing (bread dressing) for the holidays. We will share more information on this in the coming weeks. Also, we are going to be testing our chicken and Jo Jo recipe, from our original store recipe, in our open fryers. We want to get it as close to the pressure fryer as possible, so bare with us as we work the kinks out. We wanted to let you know that we looked back through requests and those 2 things topped our list. Once we get the proper equipment to make our hamloaves we also plan on doing those as well (they will be cooked and ready to serve when we do so).
Again, we cannot thank you all enough for the success we have had over this first year. Hopefully we have many, many more with you all! Enjoy the fair and have a great rest of your week.
