Friends! I’m excited to share more about the journey of starting Habibi Village and the intention behind it: supporting and participating in a circular economy, strengthening our local ecosystem, and how we impact building resilient micro-communities.

If you’re a small business owner, thinking about starting something of your own, or simply an Asheville resident who wants to better understand and engage in conversations around local economies and community resilience, I’d love to have you join us.

We’ll also talk about purpose, your “why” and why having a clear, meaningful reason behind what you’re building can help carry you through the uncertainty, resilience, and growth that come with running a small business.

And part of that conversation is recognizing that how we participate locally matters. Voting with your dollar where you shop, eat, and invest and participating in local civic life, including your city council, are both ways we help shape the communities we live in.

All you need you to bring is a notebook, a pen, and your presence.

Dina’s testimonial at . The first time a close member of my family visits me in Asheville and spends some time. Meet my amazing aunt , an awesome cook, mom and coach. She loved the habibi Saj and it was a true testament to how far we have come, coming from a Lebanese who grew up with the Man2ouche. Was Blessed to have her and introduced her to our magical community. As you all know, Asheville delivered an incredible experience to Dina. I know she will be back!
Find us every Saturday 8 am - 12 pm every Wednesday 3 pm - 6 pm and on Saturday 9 am - 12 pm.

The light is returning and spring is just around the corner. The farmers market buzz is coming back, and we are looking for great people to join our growing team for markets and festivals this season.

We are currently hiring for the following role:

Black Mountain Farmers Market Team Member
đź“Ť Saturdays starting April 4
⏰ 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We are looking for committed, disciplined, and focused team members who want to become part of our growing Habibi Village family.

People who believe in the power of farmers markets, local food, circular economy and who are proud to contribute their energy to that vision.

• Must have your own vehicle and a drivers license for loading and unloading market equipment. You will be compensated 60 cents/mile for using your vehicle.
