Our Asheville location offers classic American cuisine, steak and seafood cooked over a Hickory wood fire grill to accentuate the flavors in everything from steak to seafood. 131 MAIN Restaurant, located in Asheville, North Carolina, has a similar feel to the old French cooking suites and has a full Chef’s table for viewing the kitchen in action. Outside dining on the covered porch while watching the action in Biltmore Park is always entertaining.

131 MAIN Restaurant in Asheville offers classic American cuisine cooked over a Hickory wood fire grill that accentuates the flavors in everything from steak to seafood. Fish from around the world is shipped overnight from the docks to our restaurants every day. Dishes are always house-made, from salad dressings to desserts. Be prepared for fine dining in a warm and casual atmosphere.

131 MAIN Restaurant opened in August of 2004 when Joe Douglas and Chris Carlsen, the company owners, were in search of a restaurant tenant to fill a vacant space in one of their company’s retail developments. After unsuccessfully identifying a tenant meeting their high quality and fresh food expectations, a college friend who was still in the restaurant industry joined the team to assist in the creation of a great restaurant company. 131 MAIN stands for one idea, three friends and one goal. The goal is to WOW every Guest in a way that creates loyalty. There are currently four 131 MAIN Restaurant locations in North Carolina.
