Sourced from our partners at , we have our first Competition Coffee on offer-
This naturally processed coffee comes from the Umoco Washing Station of Kayanza, Burundi. We taste Cheerwine, raspberries, and a tea-like body in the cup.

Our roasting team is having a great time engaging with the national coffee community this spring - Our very own Holden () will be brewing this coffee at the upcoming US Brewers Cup Championship. Hannah & Matt will also be in Raleigh to compete in Cup Tasters Championship! 👏

New Coffee! Alto Inambari, comes to us via our import partners, , from the Puno region of Peru. This area is known for both its vibrant & unique coffees as well as its varied landscapes. Deep, hot Jungles transition to the icy peaks of the andes with municipal Puno ranking as the 5th highest elevation city in the world at 4000masl (about 13,000ft). We taste almonds, dried blueberries, & snickerdoodle from this absolute gem of a coffee. It won’t be around too long so get it while we got it! ❤️✌️☕️🏔️

This weekend we will be represented by Eli
at the 2026 US Roaster’s Championship in Houston, TX!

Eli brings a wide variety of coffee experience and contributions to our team, and we’re thrilled to see him enter his first national roasting competition!
At Cooperative, Eli is our QC Manager, a talented roaster, and Director of Education, and is always looking for new opportunities to enjoy and collaborate in the coffee community.

We appreciate that he’s heading to Houston with optimistic energy to make a few mistakes, learn a ton of new things, and maybe make a few friends!

We are excited to welcome our first ever coffee from Bolivia to our menu!
🇧🇴
Carrasco is a community lot from the province of Caranavi, known as the Coffee Capital of Bolivia. The community consists of smallholder producers that usually grow Catuai and Typica varietals under the shade of native trees in addition to a variety of fruits and other crops.
We taste baking spices, nougat, and key lime pie in the cup.

Sourced from Tablón de Gómez in Nariño, Colombia, Familia Urbano is a new offering produced by brothers Hernan, Elier, and Napoleon Urbano. Their approach to farming is deeply rooted in environmental preservation, including forest conservation, water protection, and biodiversity.
Our importing partners at brought us this sweet and balanced coffee that we are happy to add to our menu. We taste cherry and milk chocolate in the cup, with a syrupy body and lingering sweetness.

We have some excellent coffees on the horizon for 2026, and our roasting team is preparing to share some exciting additions to our menu from Colombia, Rwanda, Peru, and more!

Friends! Like so many people in Asheville, we have been coordinating ways to strengthen our networks of support, making stronger webs of relationships that will hold us all, no matter what is happening in our world.

Alongside our friends at , the BIPOC artist collective that has kept our walls adorned with beautiful and inspiring art for the last few months, we are co-launching our Food4Good fundraiser and food drive. We hope you will join us and participate!

Starting today, through the upcoming holiday season, Cooperative will be giving 5% of our proceeds from sales in store and online to Colaborativa La Milpa. is part of this Colaborativa! Caravan Art Bazaar’s ART4AID prints, available at our shop, will be donating 10-100% of sales.

Our Food Drive begins Friday Nov 28th. We will be collecting donations of *specific* food & supply donations for Colaborativa La Milpa.

If you wish to bring food or resources, please see the list in this post and bring only items listed—no canned foods or used items, please! We will be collecting donations during our open hours, from 8am-2pm, every day.
