Switching Gears — A New Chapter Begins
Aloha Fridays are usually reserved for a weekend specials post, but today feels different. As many of you know, we’ve experienced a massive loss, and it’s led me to reflect and reassess. Instead of my usual content, I want to take a moment to reintroduce myself and share what’s next.
To those of you who have supported me over the years, whether through my cake business or by dining at RosaBees…Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your loyalty and love have meant everything.
While I will always cherish my time as a restaurant owner and pastry chef, I’ve decided to make a pivot. The future of RosaBees is tangled in red tape and funding complications, and truthfully, the emotional weight of it all has been heavy. I’ve realized I may not have the capacity right now to return to that world.
So I’m following a long-held dream: I’ve stepped back into the real estate world.
This isn’t entirely new, back in 2007, I took a leap into real estate, but life had other plans (hello, market crash). That twist led me into pastry school, the cake business, and eventually, RosaBees. Now, I’m picking up that thread again and chasing the dream that never quite had its moment.
