Every itinerary begins with years of travel, exploring and building lasting friendships through research and discovery. Dining out with new connections, striking up conversations with locals, finding that friend of a friend who knows where to catch the most entertaining Lucha Libre match, devour the most authentic street tacos, sample the most interesting mezcal, and — in general — absorb the culture and character of where they’re from

Félix's recent travels in Mexico City were the final step in bringing this new Cúrate Travel itinerary to fruition, making sure that every destination and activity fulfilled its promise of a tailored, stress-free, and eye-opening adventure into the heart of Latin America.

Each and every personalized detail makes a difference in the travel experience. Gaining knowledge through years of nurturing strong local bonds is truly the only way to develop that nuanced understanding of a region.

Our 2026 travel dates may be sold out, but you can still join us on our 2027 Mexico City adventures at the link in our bio.

Low ticket warning! ⚠️

Our next pintxo party collab, Traiteur Txikiteo, is coming up this Friday, August 28, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at La Bodega! Chef Peyton Barrell of Gourmand and Cúrate Executive Chef Ángel Palacios are joining forces in the kitchen for a collaborative pintxo menu, paired with a lineup of wines by Ameztoi Boiz from De Maison Selections .

Our beloved local distributor, Mike Tiano of Haw River Wine Merchant, will join wine director Jessica Salyer and De Maison's Phil Broom on the floor for wine pours and maybe... just maybe 😉... a cider porrón or two.

Standing room, cocktail style, bar-top bites, txakolina, and porrones of Basque cider. Fall can wait, let's txikiteo!

A huge thank you to Food & Wine writer Kat Odell for this thoughtful piece highlighting Appalachian sourcing and the maker mentality that sets the dining scene in our small-but-mighty city apart.

We wholeheartedly agree that Asheville is one of “America’s most compelling dining destinations” and are continually in awe of the way our hospitality and agricultural community draws upon Appalachian traditions and responsible farming to inspire their work.

Grateful to be included, and just as glad to see our neighbors recognized alongside us:

Peach season has hit its peak in WNC, and that means Tarta Sara – one of our favorite summer desserts – is back on the menu.

Almond cake, amaretto-compressed local peaches, lavender cream, chilled buttercream shards and our house peach sorbet. Rounded, refreshing, floral and light, it's a balanced sweet treat to close out a summer meal.

Ask your server to pair it with a glass of César Florido, a Moscatel from Chipiona with a hint of honey to accent the peachy sweetness without overpowering it.

Only one week left to support Food Connection through your purchase of our limited-edition bottles of Botanist & Barrel x Cúrate Basque-Style Cider!

For the month of July, we've joined up to support Food Connection, an Asheville nonprofit that rescues unserved, chef-prepared food and redistributes it throughout WNC communities facing food scarcity. To date, they've rescued over 1 million meals and kept 450 tons of food out of the Buncombe County landfill.

Last Thursday, we previewed the newest vintage of Cúrate Cider at Botanist & Barrel's Asheville tasting room, where Wine Director Jessica Salyer and Chef Ángel served up pintxos of cider-compressed Melón con Jamón with each pour.

If you missed this month’s fundraising events, there's still time to bring a bottle home: order one of the menu at Cúrate during dinner, pick one up to go from our retail section, or stop by Botanist & Barrel to take one home! 10% of proceeds from every bottle sold this month goes directly to Food Connection.

Stop in before July is over!

Escalivada: a beloved tapa for hot, humid days like these. A selection of vegetables roasted over the coals until soft and smoky, served chilled and drizzled with quality olive oil.

In Catalunya, the dish is a popular tapa to pass down the bar in the late afternoon and wash down with an Estrella or vermouth on ice to help beat the heat.

Swipe to learn more about OUR version ⤷

Cúrate’s Escalivada is plated with a mix of chilled roasted red peppers, onion, and eggplant, topped with our favorite Olivar Cúrate EVOO. The pros order a side of conservas for a true-to-tradition tapas experience, and layer the spread on slices of fresh baguette. It’s one of our favorite balanced lunch sides or addition to a dinner tapas menu.

Available all day every day on the Cúrate menu. Check out our full menu details at the link in bio!
