Cúrate’s event team can adapt to just about any vision. Yes, even your out-of-the-box, tropical-themed holiday party.

Last December, Micah J. Richardson transformed La Bodega into an unforgettable tropical escape for one night only. Guests arrived to colorful décor, creative cocktails, tropics-inspired Spanish bites, and live ukulele music.

Needless to say, we had some real fun with this one. And from the looks of it, so did our guests.

If you’re thinking big this year for your holiday party, let’s start planning and bring that fresh idea to life! December dates are filling up quickly, so reach out through the link in our bio to book your holiday bash!

In Spain, sangria is meant for gatherings. So why not make it part of yours?

Add on our Sangria Making Workshop to your next event for a fun, interactive addition to your party itinerary, giving guests the chance to learn, mix, taste, and enjoy a little bit of Spanish tradition together.

A member of our bar team will guide your group through Chef Katie Button’s favorite Sangria recipe, featured in her first cookbook, "Cúrate: Authentic Spanish Food from an American Kitchen", with the option to opt for either our Cava or Red Sangria recipe. Each participant will take home the recipe so they can recreate a little taste of Cúrate (and your festivities) after the event is over.

Get your guests involved, break the ice, and give everyone something to talk about.

Beyond the food, beyond our extraordinary hospitality, and gorgeous space our event services can be customized and expanded to encourage greater guest engagement.

If you’re looking for a fun, show-stopped Jamón Cutting Experience is a corporate favorite and an excellent team building activity. Guests learn the real technique behind carving Jamón Ibérico from an expert carver, then take a turn with the knife themselves. It’s hands-on, a little competitive, and always a conversation starter. Corporate clients keep adding it to their private events for exactly that reason. Winter is our busiest season for holiday parties, and dates are going quickly.

Want to add it to your holiday party? Reach out through the link in bio before winter dates are gone.

Summer may still be in full swing, but leaf season is waiting around the corner. In just a couple months, our ridgelines will begin turning gold and rust, adding a warm glow to soften the crisp fall air, and the light downtown will begin to catch that same golden hue that only fall can bring.

This natural beauty is part of why Asheville has become a popular choice for fall destination weddings. It's a place that allows guests (and you) to build a full getaway around the event: exploring the parkway's dramatic vistas, wandering the galleries scattered throughout the River Arts District, and taking in downtown's shops on foot, all before gathering as the sun begins to set over town.

It’s a setting ideal for both large celebrations and quiet elopements, alike, surrounded by just a handful of people who matter most. Between La Bodega, our large-scale event venue, and The W**e Cellar, our more intimate space, our growing event services adapt to wedding getaways of any size. Our emphasis on communal dining, range of menu and reception options, and flexible spaces means we can host an intimate gathering of twenty just as easily as a much larger and lively affair.

If you haven’t finalized the agenda for your destination event, we’re here to help you polish the details. Reach out through the link in our bio to plan your destination wedding events before bookings fill up!

We love when a private event we host gets it exactly right. Mimi S. booked her wedding welcome celebration with us this past October, and we were genuinely moved when she reached out afterward to share how it went.

“Thank you so much for an outstanding evening. The attention to detail, the welcoming, engaging, and friendly staff, and the beautiful atmosphere were over the top. Our out-of-town guests, many of whom traveled from the West Coast, were in awe of your team, the amazing tapas — especially the presentation — and of course, the cocktails and w**e. The event set the tone for a beautiful celebration weekend, not only for the bride and groom, but for the 95 guests who attended.

We are so proud to be Asheville locals, thanks to your team’s hard work and dedication, and to the chef’s talent for creating the most delicious tapas and displaying them in such an artistic manner.”

This is exactly why we have a team dedicated to planning your events. We take the same tapas menu, the same w**e list, and the same Spanish hospitality that gave Cúrate Bar de Tapas its name, and personalize it all for your private celebration. Every table gets the same care our dining room guests experience every night. And every plate, the same meticulous attention to detail.

Whether it’s a rehearsal dinner, a milestone birthday, or a wedding weekend for 95 of your closest people, our team handles all the tiny details so you can take a breath and fully enjoy the gathering.

Cúrate’s private dining room, The W**e Cellar, is naturally meant for lingering over a good meal.

Tucked beneath Cúrate Bar de Tapas in the heart of downtown Asheville, away from the bustle of regular service, the room seats up to 36 guests. Cozy enough that you won’t miss a moment of your event, no matter your reason for gathering.

The room’s low light and quiet atmosphere are designed for real conversation, which is why so many rehearsal dinners, small weddings and business gatherings end up here. Our event menu options come straight from the same Michelin-recognized kitchen as Cúrate Bar de Tapas, and every event is assured the warm hospitality inspired by the Spanish tradition of sobremesa that earned the restaurant a James Beard Award for Hospitality.

Good food and better company in a relaxed, comfortable setting — a space that flexes to fit your celebration, however you envision it. Planning a small-scale event? Reach out to our events team through the link in our bio to start planning.

The room is full. Drinks are flowing. Conversations are happening in every corner.

That’s the pintxo effect.

In northern Spain, pintxos are meant to be enjoyed while moving from one conversation to the next. Small, thoughtful bites are passed throughout the room, keeping guests mingling instead of waiting in line or settling into a seat.

It’s a style of gathering that’s perfect for cocktail hours, networking events, client receptions, and celebrations where connection is the focus.

Events by Cúrate offers pintxo party packages inspired by this tradition, bringing the warmth and hospitality of Spain to your next event.

Beyond our exceptional cuisine, what is the premier advantage of hosting your next gathering with Events by Cúrate? The w**e, naturally!

Booking with Events by Crate provides access to our award-winning selection of Spanish w**es. If the variety feels overwhelming, don’t worry Cúrate W**e Director Jessica Salyer is available to curate a custom list that will truly impress your guests.

Whether you envision a formal seated dinner or a lively standing reception, we have the perfect fit to make your event memorable. A beautiful room helps, of course. But the details are what makes an event feel personal: the menu, the florals, the cake, the floorplan, the lighting, and the people working behind the scenes.

For Yuliia and Bryce’s wedding, we loved collaborating with their florist, , whose soft spring florals brought color, texture, and a romantic feel to La Bodega. .ua’s baked goods added a meaningful touch of home for Yuliia and complemented the wedding’s soft, seasonal palette.

These collaborations are one of our favorite parts of hosting events at La Bodega and the W**e Cellar. Our team works closely with clients, planners, florists, bakers, rental teams, and other vendors to help each event feel personal, polished, and true to the occasion.
