On Tuesday, September 15, Historic Biltmore Village will host a free daytime Block Party, followed by the 100-Foot Putt Challenge - a lead up to the highly anticipated PGA Biltmore Championship. There will be food, shopping, an afternoon soundtrack from Kipper Schauer, a custom professional-level putting green by Southwest Greens of Asheville, and plenty of fun to watch—even if you never pick up a putter.
Spectating and the Block Party are FREE, and anyone can take three shots at the 100-foot putt for just $5 before the official competition. The 100-Foot Putt Challenge has a huge grand prize for those who enter to compete! Tickets to enter the competition are $40, and all proceeds go to The Cathedral of All Souls.
But this is about more than one event. It’s about bringing people into Biltmore Village, creating energy in the district, supporting our businesses and showing off everything that makes this place special. As our businesses continue to reopen, new businesses join the Village and the neighborhood moves forward, events like this help us step confidently into the Biltmore Village comeback era.
