My name is Lilly and I bake homemade cookies, cupcakes, and other sweet treats for any occasion or event. I work out of my home based kitchen in Ashburn, VA. Everything is baked from scratch and hand-decorated by me. I will work with you every step of the way to make sure we get your cookie or cupcake designs exactly the way you envision them for your special event.

We’re way behind on our videos but this little pizza maker is up! When the kids do these recordings, they take my phone into the garage so no one can hear them and it’s a surprise to us all what they say 😂 We make a lot of homemade pizza around here so we loved trying a new dough recipe.

He took my phone and came back with this description. It’s a lot of pressure but I think it’s going to be hard to beat a 9.8 🙈 She’s not the prettiest cake but definitely one I’ll be making again and again.

I could live off some kind of bread for the rest of my life. This kid did not inherit the same love. He went for just the straight cheese dip without a pretzel (thanks to Gracie Withers Photography for being our guest recipe maker for the dip.) Soft pretzels are such a great, easy recipe to try at home and so fun for the kids to roll!

When I first saw this recipe, I knew it was a must for my sister’s Gracie Withers Photography birthday. She is the ultimate chocolate lover. Her ice cream order has always been chocolate with rainbow sprinkles. This cake is for true chocolate fans. It was a big hit with the girls. The boys quickly opted for the non-chocolate option.

My guess is that this recipe will be the most expensive to make out of the entire book. Between the ganache and mousse, I used 1 full pound of baking chocolate. If you buy chocolate frequently you may have noticed that the price of chocolate baking bars and just other chocolate in has gone up so much. This apparently is because of extreme weather and diseased crops in West Africa which has caused a cocoa shortage.

It was only fitting that the kid whose favorite flavor out of all flavors is vanilla talked about these cupcakes for his first voiceover.

The critics have officially decided to implement a rating scale 🤣

Brooks took the mic back for this one and is telling you how he really feels about rhubarb. While it was a hit for some taste testers, the kids and even a few adults agreed that rhubarb may be too sophisticated of a flavor for our palettes.

Move over Pillsbury…a new crescent roll is in town! Recipe #2 is in the books and I’ve decided I’m just going to go for it and knock out every recipe before the end of 2026 🥳 115 days to go! Sally McKenney

I’m back!! Well sort of. I have been out of the decorated cookie order game for a while now. I just ran out of time in my day trying to keep up with 4 little kids. While those have been on hiatus I am always still in the kitchen baking something and I have even jumped on the sourdough bandwagon this year. I have been brainstorming ways to show up on here again, just in a different way.

I am by no means a recipe developer but I love following recipes and I love cookbooks. It has been a goal of mine forever to bake my way through an entire book, to bake recipes that I may be a little scared of or use an ingredient I have never even purchased at the store (hello rhubarb!). While I won’t necessarily go in page order, the goal is make every single recipe of these 101 recipes. There are many dessert recipes but also some brunch and bread things too. I originally thought I could do it by the end of 2026 but then realized we are only 118 days away from the end of this year and we just know it’s not going to happen 😂 I’m not going to give myself a timeline but my goal is to make a few each week, sharing my journey all the way through (both the successes and fails). I am just a home baker and everything I have learned has been through reading and experimenting. My hope is also to share little baking tips, some of my favorite things I use in the kitchen, and fun ways to package and give your homemade treats to those you love.

My family of course wants to be in on this so the kids will be giving their reviews of each recipe, maybe even ranking them on a scale of 1-10. We’re just getting our feet warm with this first one so we’ll see where it takes us. He kept a tally that it took him 15 tries but Brooks rocked his first voiceover. If you’ve hung around this long to read this entire thing, thank you! I can’t wait to start this challenge and if I see you on a regular basis, you better believe you’ll be assigned some taste testing duties.

Thanks to Gracie Withers Photography for helping me learn the ropes of IG reels again 😘

Happy Friday friends!
-Lilly
