We are staying open later, because the hour before we close has been our busiest!!

If that's you, picking something up after work, after pickup, after practice, we want you to get here with time to spare. The new hours are on the graphic, and we still open at 9am every day.
At any bakery counter this week, ask three things before you trust an allergen claim:
Can I talk to the chef or the owner? A claim on a menu or a label means nothing if the person selling it was never trained on it, and most staff are not.
Which specific allergens are in this, and which are not? If the answer is a shrug or "it should be fine," that is your answer.
What is it made on, and what else is made there? You want to hear about separate equipment and cross-contact, not just "we are careful."

A gluten-free label on a cinnamon roll tells you about the recipe. It tells you nothing about the kitchen.

It's Cinnamon Roll Day, and if you or your child has food allergies, you already know you'll be the one leaning over the counter asking questions. Here are four to ask anywhere you buy one today.

1. Was it made in a certified allergen-free kitchen, or a shared one using different ingredients?
2. Where did the icing come from? Icing and fillings often come from a different supplier than the dough, so ask about them separately.
3. Was it cut or served with the same knife or tongs as everything else in the case?
4. Can I talk to the person who made it? If nobody knows, that is your answer.
