Dear friends,

It has been our pleasure to have served you since August 29th, 2011.

As of Friday, August 28th, 2020, one day short of our 9th anniversary, and after 20 years in the industry, we are closing our doors and moving on to the next stages of our lives.

We have served hundreds of thousands of cups of coffee, tea and slushes, made more burritos than we thought possible, showcased hundreds of pieces made by local artists, joined forces with community non-profits, positively impacting the lives of thousands of people, hosted classes and celebrations, made lots of friends, laughed, cried, and experienced the ups and downs that come with small business ownership.

Thank you for blessing us and making our time here rich and fulfilling. We will miss hearing about school, or your dog, or your grandkids.

After 9 years in business, the mixture of a new marriage and reaching retirement age has led us to offer our family-owned coffee shop for sale. It is time for us to move on and hand it off to someone else. Our last day in business will be Thursday, August 27. After almost 10 years in business, the mixture of a new marriage and reaching retirement age has led us to offer our family-owned coffee shop for sale. It is time for us to move on and hand it off to someone else.

We are located at the northeast corner of 64th and Ward Rd. in Arvada, CO.

Well-established and beloved by a loyal community, our award-winning coffee shop has been a staple in the lives of many people in Arvada for years. We purchased Lollicup from another family in 2011 and opened as 40 Weight Coffee that August. A few years ago a trademark challenge forced us to change names. We are now 5340 Coffee & Events. We have a small, dedicated staff of 4-8 people at any given time.

Our mission has always been to provide a place for people in the community to connect. We offer award-winning drinks, house-made sauces, and pastries, and we're one of the few places in Arvada that serves bubble tea. We provide a very comfortable atmosphere, and a rental space for events like fundraisers, bridal showers, and graduation parties. We've also supported hundreds of local non-profits.

We have an excellent reputation in the community and excellent Google and Yelp reviews.

The growing Denver/Arvada community and cultural urgency to support small businesses make this a perfect time to buy.
