We’ve had a couple of record-breaking weeks in a row at our Arlington/Westover location and as a result, we have might run out of your favorite flavors. We appreciate each and every customer for their patience and willingness to try something new, ordering flavors they might not otherwise have tried. Rest assured, we are working harder and trying to figure out how to squeeze more freezer space and hence more ice cream into our Westover location. We appreciate all your support and patience these past couple weeks and we look forward to seeing you again soon, as we will be restocked in the next couple days. Thank you again, we have the best customers in the DMV!

Fil-Am SpringFest is our favorite festival of the year! Always a good time, we run into old friends, see family, catch up with “frendors”, and meet new people. We have participated every year since the beginning, and it just gets bigger and better. It’s got everything you’d want in a Filipino festival: excellent Filipino food, awesome Filipino desserts, cultural performances, singing, dancing, a blood drive, handicrafts and handmade Filipiniana. In addition, it’s all for a good cause: a portion of the proceeds go back to the Philippines to help the poor and impoverished. Organized by the meticulous and indomitable and friends, this is the heart and soul of Filipino festivals in the DMV!

This is a public service announcement.

We get why kids like riding electric scooters. They’re fun. But please teach them safety and public awareness. We have seen kids ride recklessly, without helmets, with car traffic. They park dangerously blocking pedestrian pathways, handicap ramps, and blocking storefront doors. Just today storefront door could not freely open because scooters were literally blocking the doorway. I had to push the scooters over with the door for it to fully open. This creates a dangerous situation for our customers and staff.

If your kids are riding scooters or electric bikes, please teach them safety and awareness, especially on sidewalks and roads. Please teach them proper parking safety etiquette, and where to park.

Thanks for coming out to Passport DC/Around the World Embassy Tour! We had a blast, great to spread the Filipino flavor love and culture. Our new, hand built, authentic Filipino sorbetes cart was a big hit, with people asking to take pic beside the cart, holding the cart, even behind the cart! After scooping ice cream at the Philippine Embassy all day, we went straight to the Bruno Mars concert! One of the best shows I’ve ever been to!
