We had the privilege today of being the meeting spot for a group of young college men. Being so close to UTA’s campus, we have seen many groups come and gather in our place of business before but this particular group of young men caught my attention. After stopping at their table to check in with them, as I do with many of our customers, I was humbled to see this group of men gathered around a good meal participating in a Bible study. I inquired about the group, chatted with these young men, and was overwhelmed with the initiative that the College Golf Fellowship had taken to create this core group of men and how it is growing amongst their college community. While we may just be a deli, we have always hoped and prayed that our establishment would hold more than just a good sandwich and today was one of those moments we were grateful for these patrons who reminded us of some of the good.
