🕷️🕸️Hey Rock Island family!
Halloween is just around the corner, and we are throwing a party. We wanted to make sure everyone can celebrate with us, so we are splitting the night to bring fun for the whole family and the grown-ups.

🍬Family & Kids Fun (Until 8:30PM)
Bring the kiddos by early in their costumes! Our front porch will be stocked, and we’ll be passing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters. It’s the perfect, safe stop to grab some dinner, let the kids show off their outfits, and get some sweet treats.
P.S. We have a BIG surprise! We scored a giant, 24-inch Halloween-themed stuffed Bluey and Bingo! Every kiddo who comes in costume gets a free drawing ticket automatically, and we'll hand out an extra ticket for every food order placed! We’ll draw the winners right at 8:15PM. You must be present to win, so come grab some supper, get those extra chances.

🦇The Night Owl Party & Costume Contest (9:00PM - Close)
After 8:30PM, the front porch clears off and the party moves inside to the bar! Dust off your best, funniest, punniest, or spookiest outfits because we are hosting our official Rock Island Costume Contest at 11:00PM! We’re putting together some awesome prizes.
Todd and Krista will be behind the bar mixing up some spooktacular drinks (think 🩸Vampires Kiss) the kitchen will be hot, and we can't wait to see what creative costumes you all come up with this year.

If you need a little comfort in a cup Todd will be behind the bar whipping up our signature White Russians tonight!
It is the absolute perfect drink for this cozy, rainy weather. He has our recipe down to an exact science—it is perfectly rich, velvety smooth, and feels just like a dessert in a glass.

Come grab a seat, relax out of the rain, and let him mix one up for you. 🍂

Happy Wing Wednesday, everyone! 🌧️
Don't let this rainy weather keep you cooped up at home tonight. Come shake off the rainy day blues with us. Our front porch is covered, dry, and the perfect spot to pull up a chair, sip a cold drink, and do some people-watching. Honestly, don’t even worry about the mess—we don’t mind the wet shoe prints one bit, so come exactly as you are!
We’ll have the fryers hot starting at 3 PM. Whether you want to pull up a stool at the bar, unwind out on the porch, or just grab a quick drink while we pack up a carry-out order for you to take home, we’d love to see you.

24 years, a riot of boys, a family business... and a lifetime of him reaching things off the top shelf for me. 24 years of looking up to him (and standing on my tiptoes for a kiss).

Today, Todd and I are celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary! It truly feels like just yesterday we were starting out—so young, full of plans, and completely clueless about how much pizza and wing sauce was in our future. Now here we are, navigating the beautiful, loud stampede of raising our sons and building our life together right here in Argyle.
While Todd is keeping the books, placing the orders, and out on the floor pouring his heart into navigating the nightly rushes, I’m happily behind the scenes keeping his schedule straight, tracking down his misplaced keys, and handling the social media to keep the spotlight on our signature sauces. We really are a team of opposites that just works perfectly. It’s been 24 years of Todd reaching everything on the top shelf for my 4'11" self, and 24 years of me cranking my neck to give kisses.
Everything we have—our boys, this business, and the community we love so much—is a direct reflection of the partnership we started 24 years ago today. We are so incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us and this little place along the way.
Happy 24th Anniversary, Manly! There is absolutely nobody else I’d rather share this crazy, wonderful life with. Thank you for being my rock, my best friend, and for always smiling and enabling my crazy chicken lady hobbies. Here's to another 24 years together! 🖤

🦌We can hardly believe we are only two weeks away from Buck Up! It's such a favorite local event for our youth, and the excitement is definitely building around town. If you haven’t signed up, you can do that right at our order counter. Heads up on our hours that weekend…
We are opening early that weekend to get you fueled up and ready for the day. Doors open at 8:00 AM both Saturday and Sunday morning, and we are serving up a local favorite. Come grab one of our Steak, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Bagels— for breakfast and lunch (because who says breakfast food is only for the morning?). Full menu will be available for lunch and dinner. And yes, Todd’s Bloody Marys will be available all day for our 21+ crowd. 🍅🍹
Whether you need a hearty breakfast to jumpstart your weekend, a midday fuel-up, or a cozy dinner, we’ll have a seat ready for you. We can't wait to welcome you! ☕️🥯✨

Big news is baking in the kitchen, family!✨
I am so excited to give you a sneak peek of something extra special I’ve been working on.
You all know how much I love baking for your parties and celebrations, and I am absolutely still taking custom orders for all your special events just like always! But I wanted to find a way to bring those cozy, comforting kitchen flavors right to your home on a regular weekend, too.
So, coming soon, I’m introducing my made-from-scratch, using the highest quality ingredients, Take & Bake desserts.
I’ll be whipping up my Signature Mexican Bread Pudding (so sweet, spiced, and comforting) and big, gooey Cinnamon Rolls that are hand-rolled and packed with cinnamon sugar, as well as seasonal Coffee Cakes!
Whether you have a full house to feed or just want a little something sweet for yourself, I'll have both half and full orders available so you can grab exactly what you need to pop in your own oven.

✨ What an incredible first night!
Our very first Rock Island Ladies Social Club event was an absolute blast! From the bottom of my heart, a huge thank you to everyone who came out, grabbed a drink, and brought such amazing energy to our old building last night.
We had the best time painting our adorable autumn chickens, and Miss Cindy was absolutely wonderful guiding us step-by-step. Whether you hadn't touched a paintbrush since grade school or you're a seasoned artist, every single masterpiece turned out incredible- I loved seeing everyone’s unique style!
A special shoutout to Krista for keeping the delicious drinks flowing behind the bar and Hudson for cooking up the perfect appetizers to keep us fueled while we created.
