🎡 BEFORE YOU HAND OVER YOUR PAYCHECK TO THE STATE FAIR…HEAR US OUT.

We love the fair, but between the 100° heat, parking, crowds, long lines and $47 food-on-a-stick…your bank account may need a recovery day.

Meanwhile, over here at The Chicken Shack we have:

🐔 FREE parking
🍺 Cold drinks
🏈 OU, OSU & Iowa football - Because standing in a fair line refreshing the score on your phone while your team is playing is no way to live.
🎶 Live music
💰 And food prices that don’t require a co-signer

🐟 FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18
All-You-Can-Eat Catfish — $16.95
🎸 Jake Barnes | 6–9 PM

🦐🦀 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

Crab — $25/lb

Includes potatoes, corn & sausage
🎸 Coy Lloyd | 6:30–9:30 PM

We’re not saying don’t go to the fair…

We’re just saying when you’ve spent half your mortgage/rent, dehydrated, sunburned and carrying a giant stuffed banana you won at a game that cost more than your electric bill…we’ll be over here on Route 66.
