Happy Father’s Day ❤️

To all the dads,

Thank you for the early mornings, the long hours, the quiet sacrifices, and the love you give without asking for anything in return.

Thank you for the rides, the advice, the lessons, and for always finding a way to put food on the table, even when times weren’t easy.

Many of us don’t realize how much our fathers have done for us until we grow older ourselves.

Today, coffee tastes a little better, food feels a little more comforting, and family feels a little warmer.

Because of you.

From our family at Rô Càphê to yours, thank you for everything, Dad. 🙏❤️

Happy Father’s Day.

Thank You Dad!

🥢🔥 Fox Valley, let us introduce a true Sài Gòn Chợ Lớn classic: Cơm Chiên Dương Châu.

Walk through the old neighborhoods of Chợ Lớn in Saigon, and you’ll find dishes that have been passed down through generations. One of the most beloved is Cơm Chiên Dương Châu.

This isn’t just fried rice.

It’s a celebration of simple ingredients prepared with care:

✨ Xá Xíu aka Char siu (Chinese BBQ pork)
✨ Lạp Xưởng ( Chinese sausage )
✨ Green peas
✨ Carrots
✨ Eggs
✨ Fragrant rice
✨ And a lot of love in every wok.

Each grain of rice is stir fried over high heat until light, fluffy, and aromatic. The sweet savoriness of char siu, the rich flavor of lạp xưởng, and the colorful vegetables come together in a dish that’s comforting, nostalgic, and unmistakably Chợ Lớn.

For many Vietnamese families, this is the fried rice served at birthday parties, family gatherings, wedding banquets, and Sunday meals around a crowded table.

Simple food.

Honest food.

The kind of food that reminds you of home.

❤️ From Saigon’s Chợ Lớn to the Fox Valley.

Come taste a dish that has brought families together for generations.

Ladies and Gentlemen!
😅Update from the last selfie attempt:

🙂‍↕️I finally learned that sitting down is much safer than standing when taking food photos. Less chance of dropping the plate.

😅Although… I’ve also gained a little weight lately, so my face is starting to look about the same size as the plate due testing too many dishes. 😭🍽️

✅The good news? The plate survived.
🍔The bad news? My diet didn’t. 😂

🔥 🔥 A NEW FRIED RICE Dish is coming to Rô Caphe tomorrow!

I already did the quality control testing (multiple times, purely for business purposes of course 😏), and trust me…

It’s a yum. ❤️🍚

Please stay tuned, and come enjoy it before I start testing gravity with another plate. 😭🍽️”

🙏🥹Thank you so much for supporting us!

Thank you so much!

🔥❤️‍🔥And to my fellow business owners, including those some may call our competitors, I wish you success, good health, and prosperity.

🙌 Let’s continue doing our best, supporting one another, and building a stronger community together.

👋Hi I have a question!
🤔 How many bánh mì can one person carry?

Apparently… not enough. 😂

Every loaf in this basket is headed toward someone’s breakfast, lunch, or late night craving.

We’re just grateful to be part of your day and your table.

🥖 Fresh baked bread
☕ Vietnamese coffee
❤️ A little taste of Saigon in Appleton

😂Now come help me lighten this basket before I start eating the inventory myself. 😅

🎙️ A Small Vietnamese Cafe. A Big Conversation.

🥹When we started Rô Caphe, we simply wanted to share a piece of Vietnam in general and the Sài Gòn life style with the Fox Valley through coffee, food, and genuine hospitality.

♥️We never imagined that journey would one day lead to sitting down for a podcast conversation about entrepreneurship, diversity, community, and the experiences that shape our lives.

🙏It was truly an honor to join the Lawrence University Engaged Podcast and share the story behind Rô Caphe.

🙏A heartfelt thank you to Timber Smith, Special Assistant to the Mayor, and to 🙏Mehdi Ehsani and 🙏Dominick Vaccaro from Lawrence University for creating such a meaningful space for dialogue and understanding.

But this conversation is bigger than me.

🙏It belongs to every customer who took a chance on a small Vietnamese café.
🙏Every student who studied at our tables.
🙏Every family who shared a meal with us.
🙏Every friend, supporter, team member, and community partner who helped us grow.

🥹This podcast is a reflection of what happens when people from different backgrounds come together with respect, curiosity, and a willingness to learn from one another.

🥹If you’ve ever wondered how a Vietnamese immigrant’s dream became Rô Caphe, what challenges and lessons came along the way, and why community means so much to us, I’d love for you to give it a listen.

☕❤️ Your support has made this journey possible, and I hope this conversation inspires others to pursue their dreams and invest in the communities they call home.

After listening, I’d love to hear:
What part of the conversation resonated with you the most?🥹

🙏♥️Thank you, Fox Valley.
❤️‍🔥🙏Thank you, Lawrence University.
And thank you for being part of the Rô Caphe story. 🙏❤️☕🇻🇳

Not gonna lie…😓😓

I almost dropped this whole plate trying to take a selfie. 😅

I was holding the plate with one hand and my phone with the other, praying to every ancestor I know that lunch wouldn’t end up on the sidewalk. 😂

Thankfully, the photo came out.
The food survived.
My dignity is still under review.

So please come help me out and eat it before gravity gets a second chance.

🔥 Pan Fried Macaroni with Egg & Beef
🍳 Crispy egg
🥩 Savory beef
❤️ Made with love and a little bit of panic

Available now at Rô Caphe. Come before my next selfie attempt. 😭🍝❤️
