This one hits the community hard.
Chad was a father, husband, brother, a friend to many and an icon to countless others.
Iâve been listening to and watching him play for nearly 30 years, from Shai Hulud to New Found Glory. His music has been a part of my life for a long time.
What always stood out to me, even from a distance, was his positivity and his strength. He fought through an incredible amount over the years, faced cancer head-on, and somehow continued to create, perform, and show up. He just kept pushing.
I know many of my friends knew Chad personally, and I know theyâre hurting right now. Thinking of them, his family, his bandmates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest easy, Chad. Thank you for the music, the memories, and for showing so many people what it looks like to keep fighting.
Your music, memories and impact will live on forever
F**k Cancer.
