☕️ A little reminder from behind the espresso bar...

Today I'm recovering from another breast cancer reconstruction surgery.

If you saw me out and about, you probably wouldn't have known this is something I've been in some stage of battle or recovery from for 6 years now. That's the thing about life. So many people look "fine" on the outside while carrying battles, scars, grief, pain, fear, or challenges that no one else can see.

Sometimes those battles are in the past. Sometimes they're happening right now. Sometimes they're battles people will carry for the rest of their lives.

It's a reminder that we never truly know what someone has been through, or what they're still going through.

The world could use a little more kindness. A little more patience. A little less judgment. A little more grace.

I'm incredibly grateful to be hardwired for optimism. Not because every day is easy, but because hope has carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life.

So if you're reading this, let this be your reminder:
✨ Be kind.
✨ Check on people.
✨ Give grace freely.
✨ Choose hope whenever you can.

You never know how much someone might need it.

Taking a little time to heal!

We will be temporarily closed starting Wednesday to recover from surgery. Additionally, we will NOT be at the Lawton Farmers Market this weekend. Thank you so much for all the kind words, support, and love.
