Apparently, we weren't getting baked, fried, and loaded late enough… so we're extending the fun! 😂

🚨*SPUD HAPPENS IS OFFICIALLY OPEN LATE!*🚨

Starting now, we're keeping our **Lucky Strikes Bar window OPEN UNTIL MIDNIGHT** every:

That's right! Whether you're enjoying a few cold ones next door, belting out karaoke like you're auditioning for American Idol, or just craving something greasy and delicious after dark… **WE'VE GOT YOUR SPUDS COVERED!** 🥔🍔🍟

We're handing the late-night kitchen over to **DUCKY**, who'll be slinging spuds, flipping sliders, and keeping those hungry night owls fed!

But we're growing, learning, and giving you more reasons to come hungry! 😋

First, we added our delicious beer-battered onion rings… and now we're adding something a little different to the lineup!

Our neighbors at Lucky Strikes Bar have BINGO starting at 1:00 PM ⏰️ Jennifer Linton-Thomas aka KRAZY is hosting, so you already know it’s probably going to be a whole situation. 🤪

Well… the Spud Happens window got busted, my Uber account was hacked, the roof is leaking, and now the internet is down. 🫠

At this point, the universe can kindly remove its foot from my neck. I’m officially over it. 🥹 We will be CLOSED today while I deal with the latest round of absolute chaos.

But even on a day like today, our community shows up. Cha Cha from The Wheelhouse Tavern came in clutch with a donation toward the broken window, and I truly can’t thank her enough. ❤️

Thank you, Apache Junction, for always reminding me that when things fall apart, this community comes together. We appreciate you more than you know. 🫶 🥔

Apparently “GET SMASHED” was taken a little too literally. 🙃

Last night, some drunk genius decided to square up with the front window at Spud Happens… and punched straight through it. 😤

For the record, this was not one of our regular customers. We’re incredibly lucky to have a solid group of regulars, neighbors, and local businesses who support us, look out for us, and treat this place like part of the community — because that’s exactly what it is. 💓

Spud Happens isn’t just a restaurant. We’re a small, locally owned business built right here in Apache Junction, and we believe in the kind of community where we look out for each other and we stand together when somebody crosses the line. 🫂

Police responded, the incident was documented, and thankfully nobody else was hurt.

We can replace a window. What we won’t do is shrug our shoulders and pretend behavior like this is acceptable. 👊

Actions like this will NOT be tolerated.

To everyone who checked on us, helped out, offered support, or simply reminded us that AJ still knows how to take care of its own — thank you. ❤️🥔

The window might be broken, but the community behind Spud Happens is a whole lot stronger than a piece of glass. 💪

Support local. Respect your neighbors. And maybe don’t pick a fight with a building.
