Tipton's Old Anson Diner

Tipton's Old Anson Diner Good Old Home Cooking! Tipton Diner is an old fashioned smalltown diner located in Anson, Texas on HWY 277. We are known for our All You Can Eat Catfish.

But, we only cook it on Fridays and Saturdays. People also love our hand breaded Chicken Fried Steaks as well as our homade Giant Onion Rings! Hand cut and double dipped! If you are traveling through Texas and want a little taste of "Americana" that is getting harder and harder to find... stop in and see us. I promise you will get full!

Some of yall won't remember our little Paighton. She is one of my "Diner Daughters", that used to work here. She married well, she is still completing her education and just gave birth to her first son. I'm so proud! I've been waiting to post anything because I got in trouble last time. 😎

I still need a Space Force graduate from bootcamp on my Honor Wall! Who wants to be the first? If you got a kid, grandkid, friend, or foe. Send their uniformed pic to me at [email protected] and I will frame it and hang it! Bring them to eat for free on Veterans Day when I feed all vets for free! NOVEMBER 11TH 2026!

One of my employees ask how to know if a person actually served in the military? I am prior Navy and I have a veteran endorsement on my TXDL and a photo VA card. I know you must have a DD214 for either one. Retired and Active also have photo ID. Hats and tattoos are not proof of any service. Youtube is loaded with videos of "False Valor" to get a free meal or discount. So here, you need to show photo ID unless you come here so often that the waitress knows you and has verified you several times over. Or your picture is on the "Honor Wall" in the back.
