Our Rosh Hashanah menu is ready for you! Erev Rosh Hashanah is Friday, September 11th. We are happy to offer a variety of traditional, symbolic dishes for your holiday celebration. We hope that with every bite, prospects for the future become a little bit sweeter! In order to guarantee we make enough kugel and brisket for your table, please order by 2pm Tuesday, September 8th.

CAKE OF THE MONTH! Boston Cream Pie from Zingerman's Bakehouse. In spite of its name, Boston Cream Pie is in fact a cake and happens to be the official dessert of Massachusetts. Zingerman's Bakehouse's Boston Cream Pie is two layers of moist vanilla chiffon cake, filled with fresh vanilla bean pastry cream, iced in a little vanilla buttercream and covered in dark chocolate ganache. Take one bite and you'll know why it has a whole state so devoted to it.

This loaf has a thick crust and soft, white, chewy interior with a flavor that tastes of toasted wheat. We like it best when itā€™s baked to a nice crust. SPECIAL BAKE! Rosemary Baguettes AND Jake's Cake are here this weekend from Zingerman's Bakehouse.

Zingerman's Bakehouse takes their classic French baguette and add fresh rosemary for an herbaceous twist. This loafā€”simple, aromatic, and full of flavorā€”is a standout alongside pasta dishes and its new epi shape makes it a beautiful focal point of the table.

šŸŽ¶ Music is coming back to our patio this Thursday 8/20!! šŸŽ¶

Get ready to pig out on terrific tunes and great eats! Weā€™re jazzed to welcomeĀ P. O. R. K.Ā ā€”aka P.O.R.K.ā€”back to our Deli patio for another series of swinginā€™ summer evenings. This 10-piece jazz and dance band is a local legend, playing around Ann Arbor and nationally for nearly 25 years. They bring the joyful sounds of the 1920s to life, and with a name like P.O.R.K., it seemed like the perfect excuse to throw a few pork-loving parties!

Weā€™ve teamed up with our friendsĀ Fraā€™ ManiĀ to make these toe-tapping concerts totally free. What a ham-dinger of a deal! Grab a sandwich (we recommend ham!), sip a cold drink, and kick back under our shaded tent while the band brings the boogie. Expect great tunes, good vibes, and maybe even a Charleston or two between the tables.
