UPDATE
The latest forecast is cloudy in the morning with showers mid to late afternoon. Awards tomorrow are just after 2 so things are looking promising.

DISCLAIMER - This is Iowa so the forecast is just a suggestion. Heck for all we know it’ll snow tomorrow morning (although I doubt it). Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

THE SHOW WILL GO ON!!!
By now everyone knows there’s rain forecast for tomorrow’s show day. The consensus forecast is no more than a 40% chance of rain during show hours. That means an even greater chance of no rain at 60%!!! Overall, chances of rain Sunday have fallen 20% since yesterday. Bottom line, don’t let the forecast keep you from bringing your car to the show tomorrow. MCCI show policy has always been rain or shine and no refunds, so we’ll be there regardless of the weather with the same great show we’ve been hosting for 46 years now. The Farmers Market has been canceled for tonight due to the weather coming in. We will be back in Polk City June 25th for the Polk City Farmer's Market and June 27th for the Four Seasons Festival of Polk City.

Based on tonight's predicted forecast of severe weather, tonight's Farmers Market has been CANCELLED. We understand that this decision is disappointing and was not made lightly. Safety is our top priority, and we do not want to put our vendors, their products, or our patrons at risk.

Thank you for your understanding and we can't wait to see you next Thursday, June 11th, from 4-7 pm in Town Square.

I’ve been asked when my next car show is. Some of you are after those highly sought out Loaded Breakfast Egg Rolls we make. I’ll have those next Sunday.

The 46th Annual MCCI All Ford Show is one week from today! If you are already registered for the show, all you need to do now is finish polishing your Ford and finalize plans for your trip to the show field. If you haven’t registered go to MCCI.middletwin.com or sign up that morning at the show. Here are some pertinent details :

-4050 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines
-Merle Hay Mall Northwest Parking Lot
-Just follow the signs
• Registration 9:00 AM to 12 Noon
• No cars parked after 12 Noon
• Popular Voting – Noon – 1:30
• Registered show car owners vote for
-Favorite in each of the 41 classes
-Best of Show
• All voting will be electronic via a phone app
• Detailed voting instructions will be provided
• Awards @ 2:00 PM (approximately)
• Multiple food trucks will be on site
• Silent auction with a wide variety of items
• Show will be held rain or shine
• Visit the Kids Korner where kids can
-race Hot Wheels
-play games & win prizes
