Andrews, NC…. The best place to be!
Our closest town, Andrews, seems to be on fire!
There are so many fun activities with new businesses popping up every day.
It all seems to have kicked off with Andrews Valley Rail Tours, which pulls tourists from all over the country, followed by Morning Fog — a coffee shop so clean and new we couldn't figure out if it was a remodel or new construction!
We even have our own recording studio, Eclectic SchoolHouse of Music, a brand‑new skating rink, 828 Sk8te, an amazing winery with grape growing right outside, FernCrest Winery Tasting Room, two breweries, Hoppy Trout Brewing Company and Snowbird Mountains Brewery, and a new and delicious Thai restaurant with amazing service, Thai Garden Café.
The DogHouse — the coolest hot‑dog stand you can imagine with classic cars parked outside — a new diner about to open, and a whole slew of other cool stuff to walk around and enjoy, including:

Steps are being taken to secure the town’s future in hospitality, including open‑container allowances between breweries and pubs, and they even rejected a data center that tried to trick residents into destroying their own septic system! Yes, they dodged that bullet.
In this era of AI‑this... and electronic‑that... I think the attraction is ANDREWS IS REAL!
It’s a place that’s still about real experiences and connections, and I see that as a limited commodity that’s only going to grow. We are grateful to be here and feel like we got in on the bottom floor.
