Anderson Ironworks & Woodcraft Design

08/22/2026

Tomorrow I will be attending my first Anderson Gaslight Festival. August 22nd. I have attended many and helped with some vendors but this is first time I have set up. I need to do further outreach within our great community. This recent flood has our concern. Hopefully the Festival will somehow brighten the outlook at least for a few days. I have been sooo busy at my latest venture...Art Depot department at the Old Ironworks Shop. We will be selling some cool new items. Our Wild Craft Herbs Collection has really taken off. I have eight new blended herb incense to offer. Medicinal and Spiritual benefits for sure. I am limiting my first boxes to fifteen new customers. When they purchase the "Build /Pick @-a-Bow set thru will get their choice of ceramic bowl, a metal incense holder, and 8-12 incense cones all containing different herbal blends. They are presented in a nice box to remind them to visit our shop often to get their new incense supply. I hope this message finds everyone in a good and gracious condition. Life is tough so we just have to hang tough ourselves and assist all those who need it the best of our abilities. Bless you all for following my work.

Wabi-Sabi Philosophy lives here! The Art & Beauty of Imperfection! Sound different? Check it out sometime.
Hey friends! Well ..it's been awhile for sure! I really don't know where to begin!
I have somehow completed quite a few projects at the shop while attempting to continue making improvements on this old brick and mortar property. Not an easy thing to do with such crazy weather patterns experienced these past several months. I hope you all enjoy catching up via the photographs and information today. Share if you will. Let me know what you think!
Many thanks to those special patrons of the arts who support and share the love of personal and collective creativity that we attempt to keep rolling at our unusual Wabi-Sabi space. We are always encouraging those do-it-yourself projects and help out with consultation and some hands-on assistance at times. I have rearranged our creative material inventory and studio spaces and in doing so I again have some great live-edge slabs and boards available for sale. First come first serve on this remaining local inventory.
We also have some unusual one-off Home & Garden gift items that are ready to purchase in our front office. For a meet-up time or day just text ahead at 765 621-5274.
Our Art & Design Studio Makerspace & Gift Shop will be officially opening May 1st, 2026. hours will be from 10am till 6pm. Currently we are Open by appointment usually from Noon till late each day. We are in and out daily. Text ahead for a meet-up. We live just minutes away if not at the shop. Always a joy sharing the creative life with you all! Time for a cup of my favorite coffee with a bit of cinnamon!

Just some photographs of things happening at my workshop....I guess "play shop" is more like it! When you enjoy what you are doing...it is not work at all! So much activity at the shop prepping for the winter season.
