A MESSAGE FROM MO’S EATZ N TREATZ ❤️
I would like to take a moment to address our pricing and the recent increase on some of our menu items.
First and foremost, I sincerely apologize to anyone who may feel that our prices are too high or who may be disappointed by the increase. I truly understand that everyone has a budget, and I never want anyone to feel that their concerns are not heard or appreciated. However, I also want to provide some perspective on what goes into operating a small business. I have been building MO’S EATZ N TREATZ from the ground up for the past five years, and this is my first year operating from a brick-and-mortar location. With that growth comes a significant increase in operating expenses. I am now responsible for monthly rent, employee wages for three employees, insurance, utilities, food and supply costs, equipment, maintenance, taxes, and the countless other expenses associated with keeping a business running successfully.
In five years, I have only increased my prices one time prior to this adjustment—and that was three years ago. I have always tried to keep my food affordable while also making sure that the business remains sustainable. I also want to emphasize that when you purchase a meal from MO’S EATZ N TREATZ, you are not simply paying for a plate of food. You are supporting a local business, a team of employees, a dream that started from the ground up, and a business that genuinely believes in giving back to its community. Despite the rising costs of doing business, I have continued to make community involvement a priority. We give away free meals to our community every month, because giving back has always been important to me.
I will absolutely continue to offer sales and specials periodically. However, consistently offering $10 combos simply is not financially sustainable for my business at this stage of our growth. I stand behind the value of the food we serve, the portions we provide, the quality of our ingredients, and the work that goes into every meal. My goal is not to overcharge anyone; my goal is to price our food fairly enough to keep the doors open, take care of my employees, cover the costs of operating a legitimate business, and continue growing.
To everyone who has supported me since the very beginning—those who remember me when I was selling food from a tent, those who watched me build this dream step by step, and those who continue to support me today—THANK YOU. ❤️ Your support, patience, understanding, and loyalty mean more to me than I can put into words. This business has grown because of YOU, and I do not take that for granted.
Keep an eye out for our next flyer because our FREE COMMUNITY MEAL GIVEAWAY is coming this month! ❤️🍽️. Thank you for continuing to grow with MO’S EATZ N TREATZ.
Five years in—and we’re just getting started. 🙏🏽
