Hello, my name is Arther Lewis Jr. I am a United States Marine Corps Veteran; Purple Heart recipient; founder and trailblazer behind Papa & Queen's B-B-Q. My love and passion for barbequing and cooking stemmed from my southern Arkansas and Missouri roots. Growing up as a young child, I hung around in the kitchen with my mom watching and helping her cook for the family. I was also intrigued and inspired by a grilling technique called “barbeque on a stick”. This technique was introduced to me when I was stationed in the Philippines. After years of learning and perfecting some amazing BBQ flavors, I crafted a homemade spice seasoning and BBQ sauce from scratch. Let’s not forget about the southern comfort side dishes and dessert—potato salad, baked beans, mac and cheese, sweet potato pie, etc. Y’all the flavor of the food speaks for itself.
