Rhonda is a lifelong Alaskan artist known for bright, joyful, and eclectic work inspired by the color, character, and spirit of Alaska. Come meet Rhonda, explore her work, and spend a little First Friday with us in the heart of downtown Anchorage.

Can’t make it tonight? Rhonda’s artwork will be on display throughout The Kobuk café for the entire month of September.

Labor Day weekend is almost here — and Alaska summer isn’t done with us just yet. ☀️🏔️

One more long weekend. One more excuse to get outside, chase the light, hit the trails, sit by the water, and make the most of these last stretches of summer.

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect weekend to get out and enjoy Alaska, this is it.

Fresh Jellycats just landed at The Kobuk — and this batch has some serious personality. 🐰💜🐦‍⬛

From colorful, cuddly creatures to some wonderfully weird little characters, there’s always something new hiding in the Jellycat corner.

Come take a look, pick your favorite, and maybe give one of these guys a new home before they disappear. 👀

A fresh batch of Jellycats just landed at The Kobuk, and this round is definitely giving early Halloween energy.

Bats, ghosts, pumpkins, candles, quirky little creatures, and a few familiar favorites are all in the mix.

If you’ve been waiting for the seasonal ones, this is your sign to come take a look before your favorite disappears.

Alaska summer doesn’t wait around. 🌿☀️🔥

The mountains are green, the wildflowers are still hanging on, the waterfalls are running, and those long golden evenings are still giving us everything they’ve got.

But if you know Alaska, you know what August means: the seasons are already starting to turn.

So rain or shine, get up, get out, and make the most of it while you can. Hike the trail. Chase the sunset. Sit by the water. Build the fire. Take the long way home.

There’s still plenty of summer left—go enjoy it.
