Wild Scoops Handcrafted Alaskan ice cream. Local, adventurous and wildly delicious. The Wild Scoops downtown scoop shop opened its doors in late May, 2017.

In Summer 2019, we moved our Test Kitchen to Midtown and opened up a second scoop shop right next door. Our flavors highlight Alaskan ingredients and are filled with a sense of place.

TODAY IS THE DAY!! Rhubarb Trading today at our Midtown Scoop Shop from 2-6p 🤩

Things to remember if you are bringing in some rhubarb this afternoon:
* Rhubarb must be pinky-red in color
* Must be washed & trimmed of all leaves
* 4lbs gets you 1 free cone card
* 10lbs gets you 1 pint certificate

Last year we received over 4,000lbs of this precious ingredient. How much will our neighbors bring this year? We have our guesses locked in, put yours below!! 👇

Now through June 30th, we will be hosting a fundraiser in support of Choosing Our Roots. This local nonprofit works tirelessly to support LGBTQ+ youth right here in Anchorage by providing them with safe homes, supportive communities, and opportunities to thrive.

When you make a purchase and tack on an additional donation of your choosing ($1 minimum), you will receive a rainbow flag to top off your scoops! 100% of the donations will go towards supporting Choosing Our Roots' mission to make our community happier, healthier, and more inclusive. 🥰🌈🍦

✨ RHUBARB SEASON ✨ means Rhubarb Crumble is back!!

Every summer we trade ice cream coupons for local rhubarb from around the neighborhood! (Over 4000 lbs in 2025!) Then, we take hundreds of pounds of it and make it into jam. This crowd-pleasing favorite is like a rhubarb crumble dessert smashed into ice cream made with a cinnamon-nutmeg base + AK rhubarb jam + oaty streusel!
