Black Cup, formerly Cafe Del Mundo began in Alaska over 45 years ago. We are proud of our specialty coffee legacy in the Last Frontier and we're continuing to set the standard for high-quality, single-origin coffee.

Another new addition to the team, meet Anyi! Sweet personality 🤝 cool tattoos. This is Anyi's first job in coffee, and she's loved getting to learn something new. She used to work at a doggy daycare and loves dogs! Fun fact about her, she has her bachelor's degree in psychology, but for now, she's making coffee and living her best life. In her free time, Anyi loves hanging out with friends, trying new foods, learning new crafts, seeing movies, and traveling! Lately, she's been trying macrame and making bracelets. Anyi's go to drink is an iced chai! Stop by and say hi! 👋

New to the bar, this is Anthony! Artsy, whimsical, and a professional yapper, Anthony is the life of the party. Fun fact, he was born in Germany but actually has spent their entire life here in Alaska! Although he has experience working in coffee, Anthony loves working at Black Cup because of our awesome regulars and the upbeat environment. Outside of work, her dream is to be an actor. He enjoys movies, short films, and any kind of storytelling. He likes to be outside, shoot photography, and go hiking. Anthony's go to drink is a dirty chai! Next time you're in, ask her to make one for you 😉☕

We bring you a new coffee of the month for September! Rwanda, Murambi is a fully washed coffee that we love for its crisp acidity and clarity. We're tasting notes of pluot (plum/apricot), grapefruit, and red zinger tea with a medium body and medium-high acidity. 🌺🍊
