❤️🤎🖤💚 Memorial Day… whew. I’m emotional. Today I tried something with Mama Carol’s that I honestly may never try again 😅OPENING ON A DAY WE ARE NORMALLY CLOSED, but I pushed myself because I believe in this business, this dream, and the people we serve.

Running a restaurant is not easy. People see the food, the smiles, and the plates… but they don’t always see the TEARS, exhaustion, stress, prep work, long nights, money spent, staffing, cleanup, worrying if enough people will come, and carrying the weight of making sure everybody is okay.

Today reminded me that I’m not carrying it alone.

I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported Mama Carol’s on Memorial Day. Every plate purchased, every share, every kind word, every person who chose us… thank you. Y’all keep this dream alive.

A special thank you to my cousin/bestie, my little cousin, my dishwasher, and my new guy for standing beside me, helping, showing up, and having my back when things got overwhelming. I see you. I appreciate you more than words can explain.

I feel like crying because sometimes being strong all the time is heavy. But today I’m choosing gratitude. ❤️

Mama Carol’s is more than a restaurant… it’s sacrifice, love, and resilience.
