Most of us never expect to need a search and rescue team.
For one family from Texas, a day on Alaska's waters turned into tragedy when a vessel capsized, leaving four survivors and four loved ones missing. The Alaska Dive Search, Rescue & Recovery Team answered the call and worked tirelessly to help bring those family members home.

It's difficult work. It's emotional work. And it's work that few people are willing or able to do.

The volunteers of ADSRR dedicate countless hours, equipment, training, and resources to helping families and communities during some of their most difficult moments.

We're proud to host this year's fundraiser at the Angry Salmon and help support an organization that serves Alaskans and visitors alike when they need it most.

The volunteers of ADSRR give their time, training, and expertise without hesitation. If you're in a position to give back, now is a great opportunity. Donations this year will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000 by an anonymous donor, making every contribution go twice as far.

Join us at the Angry Salmon on Saturday, June 20th for lunch from 12–4 PM, then stick around for the raffle drawings beginning at 5 PM.

Out on Alaska's waters, things can change in an instant.

When tragedy strikes, the Alaska Dive Search Rescue and Recovery Team is there—volunteering their time, equipment, and expertise to help bring answers to families and communities during some of their hardest moments.

Many in our area have seen firsthand the impact this team has had, including search and recovery efforts that touched our local community and many Alaskan families.

We're honored to host this year's fundraiser at the Angry Salmon on 6/20/26, from 12:00-4:00 PM. If you're able, stop by, check out the raffle, and help support an organization that does work most of us hope we'll never need—but are grateful is there when we do.

We know times are tough for many families and businesses right now, and not everyone is in a position to give. But if you're able, any contribution—large or small—helps support the volunteers and equipment needed to continue this important work. Thanks to an anonymous donor, every dollar raised will be matched up to $50,000, doubling the impact of your generosity.
