Well…… to say the least we are a little bummed and disappointed after closing the restaurant because we were told the closing date on the building was going to be on the 10th of August and that wasn’t the case. Couple things happened… first unknown to us a couple days before closing the buyers couldn’t get the funding to work and informed the title/escrow  company but we were not notified which leads to the second thing, we show up to the title company excited ready to close the deal only to find out that communication somewhere along the lines got lost and we weren’t even on the schedule. It was exactly 60 days since we went into contract with the buyers. Not sure why in that time things weren’t checked, rechecked and figured out. We canceled all of our equipment, sold all our food and thought the deal was done. We took off to Tennessee to find a home and for this to happen. We have given the buyers 10 more days to find funding as they are still interested but who knows what will happen. With this all being said not only do we need your prayers we also want to throw out there that if anyone is interested in the building/restaurant we are all ears. We aren’t going to wait around and see what happens next. We can’t just start things back up. It would cost us almost $20,000 to get all the equipment, contracts, services, and supplies back for operation. We have faith but we would be lying if we said we weren’t disappointed and honestly a little ticked that this even happened this late in the game. We are losing money at this point because bills don’t stop when a building is empty. Thank you for your prayers and helping us possibly find a new buyer if this one doesn’t come through.
