There are some people who make a difference simply by showing up… and then there are people like Mr. Calderone.

From the moment we opened our doors in February, he jumped in with both feet, bringing his incredible energy, kindness, and love for this community into Sweet Clementine’s. Last Tuesday, watching him greet families, laugh with students, and serve tacos with a smile reminded us why Sweet Clementine’s exists, to bring people together.

Last Taco Tuesday was something we’ll never forget. Between 3:00 and 8:00 PM, more than 100 people came through our doors to support our little cafe, our mission of creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with all abilities, and to spend time with someone who has touched so many lives.

Mr. Calderone, thank you for believing in us, for giving your time so generously, and for everything you do for the children and families of our community. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are truly overwhelmed with gratitude. ❤️

To every single person who came out, waited in line, shared a meal, and supported our dream, thank you. You made it one of the most memorable nights we’ve had, and our hearts are so full. To our amazing team- thank you for taking your time to come in and help prepare and serve everyone!

BREAKING NEWS: Cousin Bryce has officially been promoted to Assistant Taco Quality Control Manager! 👶🌮

He’s been working all morning making sure tonight’s tacos are absolutely perfect… although we’re pretty sure his main qualification is looking adorable. 😂❤️

What a great night! Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new friends, and watching everyone gather around good food reminds us why we started Sweet Clementine’s.

What. A. Day. 💛🍊

Today was one for the books!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our trailer at the Farmers Market and everyone who visited us at the cafe today. Your support means more than you’ll ever know.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans, and we had to close a little early due to the thunderstorms. Thank you for showing us so much love before the rain rolled in.

Today was officially our busiest day ever, and we’re feeling incredibly grateful. Every drink, every meal, every conversation, and every smile helps us continue building a place where everyone belongs.

We’re just getting started… and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
