I'm so thankful for all of you who keep me in mind for your birthday celebrations! I am fully booked for June, but still have some July and mid-late August spots open if you're hoping for cake or cupcakes as part of a celebration.

An enchanted forest cake for R & S đź’Ť

This couple knew they wanted fairy tale vibes, and included "the inside of the cottage" at their magical venue Vaughan House Micro-Weddings in their inspiration brief, and then let me run wild with the design. I had a ton of fun, and am so thankful for their trust in me.

Cake details: dark chocolate cake with Earl Gray buttercream and chocolate hazelnut ganache.

It's another big tasting week over here, so I'm offering a deal in an attempt to not drown in extra cupcakes.

$30 for a baker's-choice mixed dozen. Pickup available Saturday or Sunday in Afton or Amherst... Possibly a Friday evening option for my Lynchburg friends. (Message me to discuss timing details.)

While supplies last, and orders must be placed by Thursday. Available as an add-on to any current order, or as a stand-alone new order.

Vintage vibes with spring berries, garden flowers, and hand-made gumpaste swans for S & G's May wedding at Vaughan House Micro-Weddings

I had so much fun with this couple's maximalist inspo, and I think this may be my favorite vintage cake yet. S & G also went all-out with fun flavors to share with all their guests: chocolate earl gray hazelnut, strawberry matcha, and lavender crème brûlée.

Top tier: chocolate cake, Earl Gray IMBC, chocolate hazelnut ganache
Middle tier: strawberry cake, jam, strawberry matcha cream cheese frosting
Bottom tier: brown sugar vanilla cake, caramelized sugar topping, white chocolate lavender ganache

I loved all the little details on this dessert table-- the florals, the little lamp, a textured cake stand, tiered trays...

I loved all the little details on this dessert table-- the florals, the little lamp, a textured cake stand, tiered trays, and a printed flavor menu. They really brought the display together!

K & C chose a classic vintage heart cake in almond raspberry, then cupcakes in apple crisp, brown butter bourbon peach, and blackberry caramel graham for their guests.

G & Z knew right away that they wanted to incorporate cheesecake and spring berries into their dessert table, and I loved their vision!

The couple chose a classic cheesecake with a berry swirl, flowers, and allllll the blueberries on top, plus berry cheesecake parfaits. For cake they went with my blackberry graham flavor: vanilla blackberry cake, blackberry caramel, and graham cracker crumble with vanilla buttercream, plus mini cupcakes in triple strawberry, vanilla toffee brown butter, lemon poppyseed wildberry, bourbon berry tea, and chocolate blackberry lavender.

I love using styled shoots as an opportunity to push myself and to try new things. I knew I wanted to play with embossed textures, draping, and lace elements that would be on full display in the lovely glass house at Solara Ridge.

This shoot was such a positive experience full of the most genuine, encouraging, and helpful vendors. I whole-heartedly recommend anyone on this team! More to come, for sure.
