Job 33:10

Inspiration
God knows our choices before we do! Many decisions will lead us to success and happiness, while others bring sadness and misery. These ongoing struggles refine our behavior and continually strengthen our character. God is present through every moment; He is our refuge and strength! His steadfast love covers us, molds us, and refines our spirits as pure gold.

Prayer
Dear Lord, thank you for Your presence in every moment. You know what lies ahead and seek to shelter us in Your steadfast love. Thank you for molding us into precious gold. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Inspiration
Everyone has a story or hidden struggle, making it essential for us to seek ways to encourage one another. Evil and sorrow fill the world, and we remain alert for opportunities to lift one another out of miry pits of despair. We rely on the Holy Spirit for discernment when speaking to one another. People do not wear spiritual wounds on the outside, so we rely on Him to direct us in our words and actions. Our faith allows us to show God's love to those who struggle with sorrow or depression.

Prayer
Dear Lord, We call upon Your Spirit to help us recognize opportunities to show Your love to others when they are struggling. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Job 26:7
He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Inspiration
The earth was without form; empty, and void when God initiated creation. From nothing, He created something. He breathed to life all the beauty around us. We have a limited understanding of how this happened; we only know God is all-powerful, and with Him, everything is possible. Job had multiple hardships all at one. Although he was overwhelmed, He knew God had the power to provide refuge and strength. We revere the power of God and remain hopeful in His plan for our lives.

Prayer
Dear Lord, we respect Your power and remain hopeful in Your plans for our life. Thank you for lifting our spirits when we face multiple hardships at once. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Inspiration
Love is powerful; yet fragile, and we must handle it with care. Love protects marriages when life struggles erupt; it's the glue that holds families together when experiencing financial woes or the loss of loved ones. God loves us unconditionally; by the power of His love, our salvation is secure. We had instances when it was challenging to love one another. In those moments, we consider how diligently Christ loved us as He died for our sins on Calvary, and we remember our commitment to love one another as He loves us.

Prayer
Dear Lord, We strive to love one another as You love us. We will stand by our commitment to You and love each other, even though it may be challenging. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Inspiration
God presented Adam with the honor of tending to the Garden of Eden; He also assigns us meaningful tasks throughout our earthly lives. Those tasks include ministering and providing for others. We are His most precious creation so taking care of one another is a significant obligation. We want to be diligent and dependable as we teach others about Christ and care for their physical and spiritual needs. We are honored, as children of God, to devote our efforts to others.

Prayer
Dear God, We recognize that we are obligated to care for one another. We consider this an honor and will work diligently and dependably as You will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

A Prayer for America

Dear Father,
Living in uncertain times, You are a certain God.

Seeing turmoil all around us, You are the Peace within us.

And though the future may seem dim, You are the Light that illuminates our path forward.

Make us one nation under God.
May we remember the high cost that was paid to live in one nation, a nation under God.

May we not be fractured by politics or pettiness, but stand together as an indivisible people, ready to face the challenges of our future.

May we graciously live within the freedom and liberty endowed to us by our Creator. And may we seek justice for all, no matter their race, color, or creed.

Make us one nation under God.
Though imperfect, let us become a more perfect union. Sometimes divided, let us learn to live indivisibly. And at times ungrateful, let we the people be grateful for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

In you, God, we trust to heal the wounds of our past. Give us strength to endure the trials of today, and provide guidance to live together in a more peaceful tomorrow.

Make us one nation under God.
May your Word direct us, Your promises keep us, Your power protect us, and Your purpose restore us.

Job 1:8
And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Inspiration
God commends Job's character and faithfulness. He knew Job's faith would not crumble, no matter the hardship placed upon him. Job's devotion provides an excellent example of how we should prioritize our walk with the Lord. We will nurture our relationship with God because it is essential to desire His will for our life. We will ask Him to enlighten us to behaviors and sinful actions we need to remove from our lives so we may be productive stewards of faith.

Prayer
Dear Lord, please forgive our sinful nature and help us make our relationship a priority. We desire Your will above anything else. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Matthew 22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.

Inspiration
God humbles us with His everlasting love. He extends an invitation to everyone to be part of His kingdom. Some are too busy or refuse to give up worldly business. Others are simply uninterested or despise our Lord. Few people come but remain unclothed in the salvation of Jesus Christ our Lord. We are all called yet; many will not enter the kingdom of heaven by their choosing. We will continue sharing God's beautiful invitation and provide knowledge concerning the only way to salvation.

Prayer
Dear God, we know only a few will accept Your invitation for everlasting life; this saddens us. We will use every opportunity to announce Your invitation while explaining Jesus is the way to salvation. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

We must consider the cost of discipleship as we lay down our lives to follow the Lord. Surrendering our spirit includes changing our lifestyle, relationships, and mindset. We no longer focus on earthly things as our mind concentrates on eternal salvation. We are ready to repent our transgressions and move forward by removing the alluring temptations of sin from our lives. In some instances, these changes may cause sorrow, yet, we continue living life with the new heart God has created with us.

Inspiration
