Good morning everyone!!! Due to popular demand, we ARE going to do bone in fried chicken again tonight 10/14 from 4 - 9 PM. We did tweak the breading recipe just a bit, but you won’t be able to tell!
With such popularity last time, we will be limiting our menu to burgers, phillys, and appetizers to go with the fried chicken starting at 4 PM.

WE ARE ALSO GOING TO DO A CALL IN “PRE-ORDER” OPTION. We will start taking calls at 9:30 AM for a 4:30 PM pickup. This way we will be able to be more prepared for a rush, and you customers that want to take your meal carry out won’t have to wait in the bar while it cooks. Our number if you didn’t know it is (815) 857-7097. Please have your order, your name, and your phone number ready for Simber. We will cut off pre-orders at 3:30 PM.
Hopefully this will minimize congestion and allow customers a quicker turnaround. You’re more than welcome to eat your pre order here, but it will come in to go containers.

We’re looking to add 1 more person to our kitchen team.

Experience preferred, but not required.

If you have a strong work ethic, can hustle when things get busy, and are willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

Hours:

This position offers approximately 15–40 hours per week, with evenings and weekends required.

We’re looking for someone who wants consistent hours and is interested in becoming part of the Uncle B’s family. If your availability is extremely limited, this may not be the right fit.

What to Expect:

Our kitchen may be a little different from some others, but we pride ourselves on producing a high volume of food quickly while maintaining exceptional consistency and cleanliness.

All kitchen staff are expected to work as a team and be interchangeable. New hires will be trained and expected to operate both the fryer station and griddle station as needed. We succeed by working together and helping wherever is needed.

Pay & Growth:

Pay is based on experience, and there are opportunities for advancement for dependable, hardworking team members.

What a great day for a road trip to sunny Amboy!

The Chicken Caesar Sandwich’s have been a huge hit! We are doing them all day again today.

Everyone that has tried the Chester Cheeto balls have went crazy about them, we still have some left today!

A full slate of college football and the White Sox clinch their series tonight!

5 for $10 domestic buckets all day.

5 for $20 mix-n-match Good Boy / Vodkade buckets.

You guys….. ITS OLD FASHIONED FRIDAY!

Starting today (10/9) we are doing a chopped Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich. They’re light, but filling!

The star of the weekend is going to be the pepper jack boudin sausage balls. These are a southern Louisiana staple, and we put an Uncle B’s twist on them……. Polancic's did me a huge service and provided me with homemade boudin sausage so we took that and mixed it with our own rice and holy trinity blend, stuffed a pepper jack cheese cube in the center, and then rolled it all in “cheeto dust”.

Try them. We have about 32 orders and I can promise they won’t last very long.

Chester Cheeto Balls, you need them in your mouth.

I came in early this morning, threw 2 more NY Strip loins in the oven to get ready for the day. We’re going to have them all day today UNTIL we run out.
