🌧️ Well, folks… Mother Nature got the best of us today. 💔

We hate making this post, but after all the rain Amarillo has gotten overnight and this morning, we’ve unfortunately got a pretty good leak on our hands. 😔

As a small, local business, closing our doors is never an easy decision — especially when we know there are people who were planning on coming in to see us today. But we’ve got to get this taken care of and make sure everything is safe and ready for our customers and our crew.

We’ve got Lone Star Services coming out to help us get this mess patched up, and we’re going to do everything we can to get back open as quickly as possible.

We’re truly sorry for the late notice, and we hope you’ll bear with us. ❤️ Things like this are tough for a small business, and your patience, understanding, and continued support mean more than you know.

We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more.

🍕 Bushland, we have some big pizza news.

After 13 years, one of Bushland's longtime gathering spots is getting ready to close its doors.

But before you get too sad, there's another chapter coming for that building, and pizza lovers are going to want to know what's next. 👀

There's also a pretty cool connection between what's leaving and what's moving in.

Well Bushland, Amarillo- the rumors are true.

We’re so excited to finally announce that we are officially expanding to Bushland! We’ve purchased the Joe’s Pizza & Pasta storefront, and on November 1st, we will open the doors as Giovanni’s Pizzeria & Tavern! 🎉

But don’t worry Bushland, we aren’t planning on changing everything about your favorite restaurant — we’re actually planning to integrate the best of Joe’s Pizza & Pasta into Giovanni’s! That means⬇️

🍕Giovanni’s will now serve a curated menu of Joe’s best pastas at BOTH STORES, as well as bringing over Joe’s desserts to our 45th location

🍕Bushland will now have a dine in restaurant THAT DELIVERS and has a drive-through

🍕Beer and w**e are back in Bushland, as well as upgraded TVs for game day💪

October will be our month to remodel, train, and get everything ready. Then, on November 1st, we’ll open our doors in Bushland🦅🍕

We want to give a HUGE thank you to Bill and his family, who have poured their hearts into Joe’s and this community since 2013. Bill is officially retiring, and we’re so grateful for the 13 years they’ve given Bushland. ❤️

Joe’s will be open through October 4th, so please stop by, grab your favorites, and show Bill and his family some love before the transition! Bushland, we’re so excited to become part of your community and can’t wait to feed you! ❤️🦅🍕

If you need a job, or know someone who does: We will be hiring ON THE SPOT tomorrow, Saturday September 12th, between Noon and 3pm at Giovanni's Pizzeria for:

🍕Cooks ($12-$14.50 an hour)
🍕Drivers ($4-$6.00 an hour +Tips and Miles)
🍕Cashiers ($10 an hour + Tips)

We’ve got roughly 10- 15 spots to fill before we open up our second store in Bushland in October. We are looking for people with open availability, and people who want to work- if you apply, you may even start training tomorrow, so come prepared!

Two years ago we took our legendary meatball sub off the menu (what were we thinking?!). Ever since, you’ve been asking for it back… And last week, one of you (Bonny) reached out hoping we could make one special for her birthday. Well Bonny, we hope this made it in time for your big day… but even if not, it’s officially BACK and it’s here to stay. 🙌

We’re sorry we ever took it away from you. Come get your meatball fix again — the way it should be.
