Colorful wedding cakes will always have a special place in my heart, and this one was such a fun design to bring to life.

The bride actually designed their wedding invitations herself, and they were absolutely stunning — complete with the cutest sticker sheet. She asked me to pull colors and inspiration from the invitations to create a cake that felt cohesive with the overall wedding aesthetic.

She sent over several inspiration photos along with notes about the specific details she loved most. Her vision was a detailed vintage-style cake with floral accents, featuring a blue top tier and a green bottom tier.

I don’t always sketch out my cake designs beforehand, but every now and then a design is so unique and detailed that I need to put pen to paper first to fully visualize it. Seeing those sketches come to life in real cake and buttercream is always one of the most satisfying parts of the process!

The flavors for this one were chocolate cake with salted caramel filling and espresso buttercream on the top tier, and matcha cake with raspberry compote filling and vanilla buttercream on the bottom tier!

Hannah & Dustin - 5.23.26 🌸

This stunning three tier scalloped cake is definitely going on my top 10 list of all time favorites - and I cannot wait to see the pictures from this beautiful May wedding… every detail was perfect!

The flavors for this one was all vanilla with cookie butter mousse filling and vanilla buttercream.

Join me on September 26th for a Twilight-inspired cake decorating workshop filled with vintage piping, shimmer, cocktails, charcuterie, and an unreasonable amount of nostalgia.

Each guest will decorate their own 5” cake, choose between Team Edward or Team Jacob, and create a whimsical vintage-style design inspired by the iconic Twilight aesthetic.

Summer is right around the corner and I thought now would be a good time to give you guys an availability update for the next few months ☀️🍉🌻⛱️👙🐚

In order to keep things simple and straight forward - here is what the plan is:

☀️ I am taking 4/26 through 5/11 off - no orders at all and no exceptions! I’m also going to try to be off of my phone as much as possible during that window, so if you DM, text or email me please be patient with me because I might be slow to respond.

☀️ I have quite a few weddings booked throughout the month of June as well as a super fun workshop planned, so I have decided to not take on any additional custom orders that entire month.

☀️ I will also be taking the entire month of July off to enjoy summer with my family and relax a little bit before school and the busy fall season start up!

☀️ I will be taking a limited amount of custom orders for the month of August - I am not quite sure of my specific availability just yet, but I will make a separate post when I open that month up.

Thank you all for the support so far this year - I am grateful to be booked up for the next couple of months and excited for summertime 🏝️

I’ll be bringing a limited amount of these cuties to tomorrow - they are lemon & blueberry mini cakes with lemon curd filling and vanilla buttercream with the cutest little veggies you’ve ever seen hand piped onto them 🥬🍅🥕

I’ll also be bringing carrot cake lunchbox cakes with cinnamon buttercream, mini chocolate chip cookie cakes with a vanilla buttercream floral design, and of course my lemon curd thumbprint cookies!
