Congratulations to Alvin College Culinary graduate Miguel Soliz, who will be competing on FOX’s Hell's Kitchen, airing September 24!

I had the pleasure of meeting Miguel several times while he worked behind the counter at 1820 Coffee House. He was always kind, hardworking, and a wonderful representative of our community.

Stopped by 1820 Coffee to say thank you for all the support they’ve shown me and the #61 race car. Having local businesses willing to get behind what we’re doing means more than I can say.

Now the coffee is handled, the car is loaded, and it’s time to head to the track and go racing! 🏁
