Beware if you or someone you know is thinking about renting this building. It wouldn’t pass inspection until it was pretty much completely remodeled, while continuing to pay rent. I’ve never seen a place so filthy in my life. Couldn’t legally open the dining room for having leaks, and no electric in the bathroom. That’s why we decided to our best interest, not to resign lease.
Be prepared to not receive your deposit back, even if you’ve done everything stated on 6 month lease.
How sad to treat people like that, and act like you did nothing wrong.
How sad also to not do walk through with renters upon exiting, yet demanding keys and not answering door or phone. Will pray for your hardened heart.

Good afternoon,

Our lease has come to an end, and we have decided not to renew it. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends, employees, and customers who have supported us throughout this journey. We are now closed for business.

I would like to take the time to say "Thank You" to everyone who has stopped by Poppy's Smokin Grill, to say hello or order food. Today it has been two weeks since we had our soft opening. It has been a challenge but, an ongoing progress to hire people, fix broken equipment, fix water issues, and outside sewer issues. These are just a few of the issues we have dealt with in the past two weeks. Also, with an older building lots of things can go wrong.
We are working around the clock to make things smoother and more efficient, and to serve you better quality of food, and service.

We would like to take this time to thank everyone who has been a part of our opening week. It has been great! Please bear with us as we are hiring more staff in order to serve you quicker and better. Thank you for your patience.
We will be closed on Sunday in Observance of Labor Day. We are closed on Mondays. We look forward to serving you. Thank you!

We would like to thank everyone for coming out to Poppy's Smokin Grill yesterday for our soft opening. We had a few hiccups but, overall was great. Hope everyone enjoyed the food. Please be patient with us as we fine tune the process and make things quicker. We are so happy to be in serving the community.
