Good News! Ken at Bumblebees is going to accept Bianchi Boys Groupons that have not expired for 50% face value and he will be accepting Bianchi Boys gift certificates for 100% face value (instead of the 50% previously stated) through the end of the year, 12/31/21. It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of some very unfortunate news that we received yesterday. Our longtime server Angela passed away unexpectedly from causes that are unknown to us. Angela was a part of the Bianchi Boys family for a long time and she will be greatly missed. Please keep Angela and her family in your prayers as they go through this difficult time. For anyone that would like to pay Angela respects the visitation will be Thursday, September 9th, at Hamilton's Funeral Home on Lyons St. from 5-7.

I want to start this post out by saying thank you to everyone that has supported us for over 13 years. It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I have to announce that we will be closing our doors permanently. We thought that take and bake pizzas were going to be a viable option to try and keep pushing through these incredibly tough times. Unfortunately after many family discussions and a lot of thinking we decided it was best to end the run we were on. In 2007 we started with 8 tables and with the help of the city of Altoona we were able to move to our current location and expand our horizons to points we didn't originally think possible. Again we can't thank the city of Altoona and all of our amazing customers enough for the unwavering support we have received since day 1. We wouldn't have been able to do it without each and every one of you and we wish you all the best.

This pandemic has caused many people and many businesses to change their course of doing business and we have fallen into that category. We value all the people that have supported us over the years and it is much too our dismay to make these decisions regarding our business. We are trying to think outside of the box and how we can provide products to those that have supported us and the path that we have chosen is that of Take and Bake pizzas and pastas and frozen pizzas. We have been forced to make this difficult decision due to the staffing and the difficult time trying to find employees. So if you have enjoyed our products and would like to continue we will be rolling out a menu for these new options. With that being said we will unfortunately be closed for at least the remainder of this week to try and get everything in place to do Take and Bake pizzas and pastas. We do not have a date yet in which we are going to start doing these, but we will keep you updated through this process. Thank you for your understanding and your continued support of our efforts to continue the legacy of Bianchi Boys Pizza & Pasta.

We apologize deeply for the changes but unfortunately our hands are tied. We are also trying to come up with a solution to work with the staff we have such as a limited menu of something of that nature.
